IBD is one of many illnesses that plague the poor, uninsured and the Middle Class barely hanging on living from paycheck to paycheck, (like how the movie, Sicko, exposes) which is why we need Universal Healthcare and why i'm a Precinct Captain for Barack Obama in Chicago. nobody in my family has IBD but a couple close friends have it. people of Irish and Jewish heritage have a higher predisposition to get it and i'm Irish. i'm glad you support Barack too ;D
IBD is caused by toxins, contaminants and pollutants damaging genetic proteins in DNA and saturating body tissue of poor working class immigrants over the past 150 years during the Industrial Revolution. these include your ancestors and mine. (where most illnesses come from) greedy corporations, cheap labor poor getting poisoned by toxins in factories, coal mines, living in tenements and slums. toxins stay in the system long enough to damage DNA. (inheritable family illnesses)
that girl that exploded in the bathroom certainly had some kind of IBD (irritable bowel disease) it's not contagious. but have some compassion. i know a couple people with it. one kind is Crohn's and another is Ulcerative Colitis. they're both miserable illnesses and not adequate medical support or treatment for people who suffer it. people have to quit jobs, quit college, divorces happen and lives ruined because of it.
