i'd just like to mention. john kerry once led a panel of 20 or so vietnam vets that were against the war and that admitted commiting "War atrocities" after they spoke before the public and generated a ton of anti war publicity it was discovered that NOT ONE of them had ever even served in the military. as it stands today there are roughly 1million vietnam vets still alive... yet over 4 million claim to be vietname veterans..

Swampdude77, You are a liar. The panel Kerry was part of was the "winter soldier" panel. He did not lead it, and the FBI ran a check on every veteran that testified before that panel. Every single one of them were confirmed vietnam veterans. Do your research if your words were out of ignorance, otherwise, just stop lying. As a vet of Afghanistan myself, you sicken me. I can attest to how difficult it is to speak out against the war. I served many years and 3 tours in the middle east before resigning in disgust over the President's QUAGMIRE in Iraq. It takes a TREMENDOUS amount of intestinal fortitude to speak the truth about what's REALLY going on over there.

72% of US forces in Iraq are now opposed to the war in Iraq and say we should pull out IMMEDIATELY.

Iraq combat veterans speaking the truth about their experiences. Ricky Clousing was in the Camp LeJune brig over Veterans Day 2006. He explained that many of his fellow inmates were also Iraq combat vets and how most of them who were obviously suffering from PTSD were incarcerated on drug, alcohol and violence charges - likely reactions to their PTSD. There's a dire need for better treatment and counselors for these troops.
