@prostreet2 Don't hate, they are awesome. The wrangler is pretty much the only thing Chrysler has ever made that isn't a total piece of junk (at least in the past 20 ish years). I had a Grand cherokee and it freakin sucked, It was in the shop more than it was in my garage or on the road. I ended up trading it in and buying me a JK, best decision I could have made. I love my JK and can't imagine myself with anything else.

Only way you could have a spare tire mounted would be with an aftermarket bumper with an integrated tire carrier.

Sorry, No harm intended. I''m just calling it like what I observed through the videos. Like I said, Its a very good concept and I would think maybe side mount cables will support the hinges even more. If not, disregard my comment. I do though support your products 100%.

good concept, but I don't think hold the weight you stated. I noticed when sat on the tailgate you moved further in so you won't be embarrass when that hinges break on video.

hhmmm, I've thought about that, but it will have to wait - after the spare tire and luggage rack. Bumpers are finished, cheaper to make then purchase.

i think its a joke thats just me but other ppl commented its cool it can be if you dont go offroading and if u do you polly wont want this mod cause u will have no spare tire unless you want to make one or buy one its ppl chose but i think if ur a offroading put a person you polly wont want this mod

A majority of serious off road JK guys have an aftermarket swing out tire carrier. Why....because a stock tailgate mounted tire carrier is not designed to hold a 35"+ tall tire. So if you are a serious off road JK driver and have a swing out tire carrier, why not have a drop down tailgate conversion kit?

That is correct. A majority of aftermarket swing out tire carriers are bumper mounted.

cool idea. Need some better looking hinges, or move them to the inside and it would look tons better. Also, video editing is super easy, might want to check into it so you seem a little more professional.
