@Tazthewonderdog No I don't think it would have the power! I only put a short beater on it to limit the force that it hit the bass pad with........;0)

Thanks SO much. I've been looking for an actual bass pedal for the DD-65, and I found a pad. (REALLY expensive) Plus, I would have had to buy an actual pedal to hit it with. So this is MUCH MUCH cheaper. Again THANKS SO MUCH!!!
No problem mate, Mine is still going strong! the beater broke once but because its made out of wood it was easily replaced! now its stronger and more durable.......;)
Question: Does the Yamaha pedal stand up to the pedal beating fairly well? I already have an actual bass pedal and the floor pedal that came with the DD-55...I found this video because I had the idea to mount the floor pedal. I am just curious as to how well it works once you start drumming?
Do you think one of these would have the punch to use on a real kit?
