I don't quite understand why he had a kid. According to the plot, he has to kill everyone in his family. He spent 2 movies trying to kill Jaime; then, when she's captured, instead of killing the last memeber of his family, he knocks her up. Is he just looking to create more family members so he can keep killing, or did I just completely miss why he hooked up with her? Since when does Michael listen to anyone- especially cult people- anyway?

@mindyschocolate the final sacrifice has to be that of innocent blood to end the bloodline, so i think that the innocent blood thing is THE final one for michael. and yes, the different versions are confusing when they alter the scenes. this is the real one (theatrical, gory one). the other one is the workprint producer's cut.

The reason for Michael not being in the third one is because the original Halloween director wanted to retire Michael Myers, and make a whole new plot for the Halloween series. However, the third one was terrible, so Michael had to come out of retirement. So in the fourth one, they made a story line of Michael being in a comma for ten years. I liked it.

To the people asking about Loomis, YES he did die at the end of the movie because Loomis was passed on to be leader of the cult of the thorn,which he didn't want. So he went back to the facility, found Michael's mask and in the end was killed by Michael. Plus the actor who played Loomis, died in the year the film was released.

2nd: The saga follows different continuities, Halloween 1 y II, can be Followed by either Halloween 4 or H20, technically the history is divided in two continuities, the first one includes: Halloween 1, II, 4, 5 and 6; the second one is: Halloween 1, II, H20 and Resurection. Halloween 3 its on a different continuity and the Rob Zombie movies are a reboot (a bad one i have to say)

I think this story tells the end of Michael Myers and H20 and Reserrection was like prequels. So the timeline goes 1, 2, H2o, Reserrection, 4, 5, and then 6. This scene seems like he really did die and that the scream was Loomis becoming the new leader of Thorn.
