Yea i was coming back from mowing my elderly neighbors lawn and i saw the guy, i said to him "did you find that in the trash" he said he just picked it up from his buddy who borrowed it and was gonna sell it at a yardsale for $50 if he could fix it. He told me where he lived and after i was thinking i want a tiller and that was a nice looking old one, went down there and offered him $30 for it like it was, he said OK, it doesnt run now but ill get it going ! Should be like $100 when i get done.

I just got a old atlas tiller from a neighbor for $30, needs some work but its from at least the 60s or so and is still in good condition.

easy spin starting is actually briggs name for its compression release system.

I love the reel mowers, both gas powered and human powered. I think they produce a much better cut!!!!
That engine sure is old.Like a 1975 B&S???It's nice to see something like that run so good!!

The possible code numbers on this engine, going by the decals, would range anywhere from 6408010 (August 1, 1964) to 77073103 (July 31, 1977).
