Yes the advice makes sense but I've always found it funny when women say "be confident" when they're not the ones putting themselves out there to be shot down. It's like saying "don't be afraid to run into a fire!" When they've never been a firefighter. It's very easy to say but it's nerve wracking as all hell. I think women should approach guys and get rejected a couple of times THEN see how it easy it is to say "Be confident." Not saying you're wrong, just finding the irony in those words.

I want to make the guy I like think that I DON'T like him, so I want to ignore him. It isn't because I don't care about him. He has a girlfriend. there is another dimension here to,to consider some men have obsessional thoughts about women they find hot and by not paying any attention or even looking at any images of the hot girl, they find that their sex instinct remains in normal mode, but if they focus too much on the girl it becomes an emotional nightmare and takes quite along time for that emotion to then normalise and this can be distressing to some men which has connection with high sex drive and low self esteem which does happen.
The fact is I can even like a girl but if she doesn't give any indication of interest after I see her couple times I will definitely ignore her. I have dignity and an ego too. There are so many girls out there. Nobody likes to be ignored as the old says, "the more you ignore me, the closer I get."
@jbenetiz as a guy you should be more magnanimous :l sometimes i might like the guy talking to me but i'll ignore him to see how much im worth to him. if the guy quickly changes subject and flirts with another girl the very next day, chances are that i'll not like him anymore. I dont know about dignity or ego but if he gives up so easily, i dont know what will happen in the relationship or when we fight, will he go, ''i have dignity and an ego, there are so many girls out there''

I would never ignore someone I like...wtf?? That is just the dumbest thing ever. Its just so childish and rude. Coyness is ok, but NEVER ignore a person. The only exceptions to this rule is when you have told the person you arent interested and they havent gotten the point. And if you are gonna play hard 2 get then ignore the person for a week or 2 AT THE MOST...but don't do so for like 2 months or so that is just taking things a bit too far...they will think you hate them and hate you back :S

I would never ignore someone I like...wtf?? That is just the dumbest thing ever. Its just so childish and rude. Coyness is ok, but NEVER ignore a person.
