It could be that this is one of the few times CNN is actually confident in their analysis. (they're kind of being dicks about it, but how often do they get to be right?). Basically CNN knows 50 (51- a Lieberman) isn't 2/3rds of 100, and a trial would have just end up being high level stage craft. I imagine that's how the media viewed the Clinton impeachment trials, right?
