He had to have the sheds to make a staged video, especially a matched set. Where did he get them, from a friend who found them. He certainly did not buy them. I have found many sets within 50 yards of the each other. As soon as he found the first one I was saying start looking for the other one in the area. I do it by going in an ever widening circle up to 200 yards or more. Most times you do not find both antlers.
obviously staged. I horn hunt relegiously and how often does a horn hunter walk thru the territory in a straight line picking up sheds? Not very. especially with a video camera. but if it was real that is pretty awesome. Deer in Idaho usually start dropping in mid december, You just have to be careful horn hunting that time of year or you will run all off the bucks out of your territory.
@hewett1111 Where else would you find them. Leaves fall in late fall and sheds drop in late winter. Old sheds are lighter in color unless the have been covered by leaves. The part covered will be darker. There are not many large trees so there would not be many leaves on the ground each year. Fresh sheds usually will not have been chewed on. Older shed are almost always chewed on, unless there are not many small critters and they usually need large trees. They could be last years shed unchewed.
@averytwo Antler Shed hunting is a real deal. As a deer hunter it has become apart of my late-season scouting. It lets me know which bucks have made it through hunting season. It can also give me a heads up on any new bucks or bucks i have never seen in my hunting area. You have to know the key places to look but for the most part, it is luck to find them. Bedding areas are a great place to start since bucks spend most of their time there. Another good place to like is along fence lines.

@champlaya7 referring to your post about "when you think you find most of sheds?" you generally find them between mid febuary to end of summer..... past that time, squirrels will feed on them because it is nature's natural calcium supplement...
Here's all I know about sheds to explain why I think it's fake. First of all, were you walking with the camera at your face or how did you not see that second one? Even I saw it on the video. Second of all I know deer make rubs but they wont work on them OFTEN after the rut. Now I said often, they willif they are mad or something but chances are it would've worked on one rub if it was trying to get it's antlers off. A friend of mine has seen a deer violently shaking his head to get them off.
I live on the southeast part of Virgina. Me and my friends were walking trough the woods and we found a warehouse with some of the weirdest stuff we've ever seen. Like sinks, dentist chairs, and other stuff. Then, 50 feet away, there's this stable looking thing with trailers all around it. And inside there's even more weird stuff. Then, 20 feet away from that, there's a UFO looking thing. it's like a restaurant inside. And to prove it's real, next time I go back there I'll make a video of it.
dude, you do realize that you wont go nowhere in life , if you try to Bull chit everybody................nice rubs though...are they real, or did you make them?
ya sorry bout that my spoiled ortten little brother is obesessed with deer. he leaves shitty comments on my account. thumbs up if u think my lil brothers a fag!
"Are you kiddin me", that is priceless. Nice work Cole...you got to love that. I bet you'll be lookin at hunting that area next year...you should try and vid the deer growin their antlers back before huntin season.

Good job. Those can be hard to find.
When I was a kid I could find them, but, for some reason, I can't these days. I think other people have the same idea and find them first.
