People who complain about snaking are the ones that probably suck at doing it. In the Wii version it's more about who's in a lower place so that whoevers in first gets blasted by a spike shell. In the DS on you could get a huge lead with snaking and not worry about losing first place. Wii one sucks.

I snake like a mad man. but when nintendo made mario kart WII i was a little dissapointed like some of you may be. but everyone grows up. I learned to constantly do tricks and avoid a red shell wit no bananas (no hacks) and also avoiding the pow block. I usually come in the 3rd place to 1st place category in wifi.

but what i really hate is that people taunt at me that it's impossible to snake in mario kart wii. ( actually i could but i 'd rather use wheelies XD)

PRBing allowed you to travel over all terrain, such as grass or sand, without losing your initial speed. It could only be maintained by snaking. Check out some Sky Garden WR's to see just how insane it really was. The trick to it was that if you stopped snaking or used a shroom, you lost your boost. In time trial, that meant permanently.

I agree with you I know how it feels to suck at a game, i can get realy hot headed when i was a noob at super smash bros. I just kept reseting when my friend was playing with me. But I learned about combos and things like if you pres down and a with link you get a powerful down hit. What I mean is that no one should be mad if they cant snake you can also use item tactics. but if you use action replay thats considered cheating. I commonly see noobs using 2 blue shells at me when they see me snake

it is a game mechanic not to be abused and repeatedly used. the whole point is to do it around turns to get the boost, not when ur driving straight. sure its not cheating, but its unfair to all the other players b/c then it forces them to do it or they will obviously lose. and to the people who can't do it at all , they are really gonna always lose then and thats not really fair since they don't practice something that is abused. I don't hate people for doing it, I just discourage it.

@DaFishies The whole point of a multiplayer game is to learn new techniques to get better and better. When you begin in a game like Modern Warfare 2, you'll always be disadvantaged against other people who have better weapons than you and know the maps like their living room, but I think they deserve it because they had to play the game a lot to get that far and good. This is just like MK, people who use snaking had to practise a lot to master it. That's why I don't hate them but respect them.

lulz, the ds lite was specifically designed to mess with snaking abilities. the buttons get sticky if you do it too much. plus, they aint clicky, not as fast if you try.
