  • These cats were like a mixture of Bro. Johnson, BarKays, Ohio Players, Lakeside, and Con Funk Shun. Talented group with a catchy funk hit, but they weren't original or progressive enough to hold up against the synth-laden 80s.

  • heyy helll go majiccc there still that funkkk hard iam only 22 turin 23 feb 19 i love that music since i was little my mom used play that mannn good times

  • FACT!!!!.........This song was co-written and produced by Allen A. Jones....longtime producer of the Bar-Kays.

  • Raridade é a presença deste tipo de musical, enquanto outras pessoas poluem seu ouvidos, isto sim é um som que agrada

  • i used to always think this was some new stuff by the ohio players back in the day, but i saw the record playing at an old friends house party and i saw it was chocolate milk.....still sound funky like back then!!!

  • oh yeah.....

  • lovely and funky

  • Myself an Jed jenkins used to raise holy hell to this song at the silver fox in woodbridge VA . Damn good times !!

  • Well the song was recorded in Memphis I think. lol

  • It does sound like the Bar-Kays..but this is a nice cut tho! :-)

  • You're right one that one. It was Allen A. Jones of Bar Kays producing it. I can't get enuff of this one.

  • Typical Bar-Kays sound

  • i already liked Chocalate Milk "Say Won't Cha" , "Girl Callin'" etc. i like 'Blue Jeans' because it also was lined up with the Bar Kays sound.

  • Danced to this song many times at the silver fox in woodbridge VA . Course fox long gone . :(

  • I remember this in 81-82....taped it from the radio when MUSIC WAS MUSIC and you did not have to wait for Saturday Night to jam.....WDAS played it back in Philly. High School days.

  • Ladies and gentelmen: The Bar Kays present Chocolate Milk with their hit Blue Jeans.

  • This song came out when I was in high school! I am 43 years old now and I am so proud to be part of a great music era! thanks for posting this one.

  • I remember this song vaguely. It reminds me of the older women wearing those Sassoon jeans and thin gold belts back in the day. I was a very little boy then.

  • I really did not care for this song when I was nine years ago. Today after all these years hearing this again, it's OK, nothing special. I don't wanna reveal my name just yet but it kinda sounded like they were saying my name.

  • Germany fun, fun, fun, Frankfurt, Worms, Stuttgart, Manheim, Heidelburg, Munich. Autobahn from Muesnter to Frankfurt, Worms, K-town. What happen? people became boring. It's a crime to have so much fun. My Daddy what did you do all that time around the world? I took your mother to places she could never have gone; Panama, Germany, Chicago, Indiana, Kansas, Japan, Paris, Prague and Baden Baden. Just fun, fun, fun.

  • Damn I remember this when I was little cat digg'n in my brother records Damn good post!!!Man I'm glad I was able to be a part of this music era.
