I rerally love her voice and silky velvety tone. The beginning of thr song is so important as it sets the mood and unfortunately she didn't nail it 100% She had some pitch problems but as soon as she hit the middle of the song she gave it feeling and energy. Excellent big note, ran out of gas at the end though but she did good. Looks like a star 8/10

OMG! I actually agree with Randy on something! AND he didn't call her DAWG! She was VERY pitchy & struggled in the beginning, almost flat. But then she turned it on. WOW! What power. Loved the dress, looked great. Not nuts about the har (wig). Just didn't suit her to me. But boy, I like this girl. Great smile, sweet disposition, educated, well-spoken and modest. Just didn't really fit Idol image, but deserves much success! Here's hoping she gets it.

Volume, riffs and diva arm movements are not personalisation, they're for inferior singers who can't do better. LaKisha is not inferior, she just seems uninspired. She has a great voice, potentially. She harmed herself with "Jesus Take the Squeal". She needs advice, like with Tony B, and to take it, like she didn't with Tony B. Is she over-emotional, thinking about her child? Finally, listen with your ears, not your heart. Her control is patchy, like she can't concentrate.
