i love 2k12 but it definetly has it's issues i recently made a new my player and after scoring only 24 points! not 50 or 60 they gave me the commmercial endorsement and the dime magazine cover endorsement and i'm like wtf . In my other my player i scored 75 points and never got either of those endorsements so what the hell. Then i dislike the CPU trading logic it doesn't make sense who trades Rudy Gay for Metta world peace and another insane trade i saw was Dwyane Wade for Nick Young. ??

Sometimes a defender will leave to player wide open to make a shot and the game will blame me for leaving him open and making the shot. The game needs to be patched quick. Makes the game stressful as hell.

the new 2k12 doesn't allow you to get a big lead and hold it. I was up by 16 in the legends game trying to unlock Mr West and the computer with no 3 point line went on a 24 to 9 run and came with in 1. Crazy!!

Love this mode, but gives me headaches. Maxxed out 3pt, consistency, and shoot in traffic, and I only just hit above 50%. Now consider the ONLY shots I take are in transition when a teammate kicks it out to a wide-open me. Clunk. It certainly doesn't help since the shot timing indicator indicates fuck all. With max attributes and a supposed 'perfect release', yes 2k, I do expect to hit about 70%. Do not even get me started on fouls, post defense touch fouls by me? sure. Layup hacks on me? Always

I mean, is like 2k doesn't want you to have a good game, when I score a lot or above the 60% I get turnovers like crazy finishing the game with 6, 7 or even more. And when I don't turnover the ball I can't make shots, also considering that my teammates don't play defense and they don't make wide open shots when I pass them the ball. IT'S FUCKING FRUSTATING!! 2k have to fix this.

@yurgenzen It's that because you're starting the season as a rookie with low ratings try to get assist if you are PG or shooting guard,try layups,dunks(if you can)and middle range jumpshots when you are SF,and post up when you are PF or C.You will get more skill points and you will became better

In 2k11, my guy would have like a 90 pass rating yet almost every pass to big man down low would be deflected....when there was nobody within a 3 foot radius when i pressed the pass button! Even on pro, these issues are glaring. I still enjoy the hell out of My Player but the problems often result in a rather agressive tirade of highly profane language that no human being should ever have to hear

You have to pay attention to detail. There are alot of controls that allow you to adjust. Those are clearly mismatches and you have to pick up on it. Watch real film. Smooth defenses pull of switches all the time. and look at the cpu when you play they switch on you all the time at the right time. I play Hof. Shit is real out here

Yeah, the defense algorithm in 2k12 is weird. Playing the 3pt specialist, AI can leave you wide open, when your teammate is open to pass ball to you and you're on the arch.

And, when you're without ball, the same AI won't let you go out of paint, when you running the play and goin to some corner, where you will stay till ball is shot, missed or hit. Some strange behavior!

Hall of fame and superstar are unplayable this year. Your teammate's defense just doesn't make a difference. All-star and simulation sliders make for the most realistic experience you can get from 2k12. You can still sort of win on hall fame/superstar but you have to score like 50 a game. Don't know how Smoove does it...
