How to Take Off The Xbox 360 X-clamps the RIGHT way!

If you but the flathead on the other side and twitch it then it will pop open in 2 seconds and you dont even have to pend it like you do it, it can break the cpu core if you do it like that!

i used this method to remove the x's, they did bend, but i simply straightened them using needle nose pliers, so no problem there

@peachyhandsomeman THANK YOU!!! I have been trying to find a way to put them BACK ON and you helped SO much!!! so you put on two of the sides by just slipping them on, then you do what you did to remove them, and push the other side down, then release pressure!!!! =DDDDD WOOT.

@peachyhandsomeman an easy way to do it is an "x clamp fix". i got one on ebay for like 13 bucks shipped. it comes with bolts, washers, and Arctic Silver 5 heat sink thermal compound. with the fix, you dont have x clamps putting upward pressure on the chips. that's waht is causing the red ring of death.
