does anyone know where to purchase this version of the show? I can see that much of the 2006 version has been removed and youtube is being populated with the 2010/2011 version. I have tried to google it and find other versions but not this one,

How cool after all these years i completely forgot about this little jewel was still tucked away some where in my mind Great to hear it again and watch it Awesome
@77edster No he´s not....I know this song forwards and backwards and he´s not singing the exact version as he did on the album. And his voice is much more mature here then on the ´70 album of this great piece of art that War of the world is.
Sharon Grace.....(you know who you are) This was the only thing that could express the pain of me pushing you away....you leaving as a result. I miss the Autumn walks at ol' MSU and the times we shared...albeit brief. They have seared a place in my heart that will always carry YOU with it. Funny. It's been 30 years. Can that be right? ~JV~
Thanks so much for posting this and the other clips from the "War of the Worlds" DVD. I have loved the vinyl album and CDs ever since I first heard them, and I hope someday to own a copy of the DVD in Region 1 encoding so I can watch it again and again.
This song is just pure magic and beauty!! So amazing!! Justin is pure perfection!! He is one gorgeous, gorgeous man with the voice of an angel. Just peirces my heart with its beauty!! This song just touches my heart and soul and hits every emotion I have!! Pure brilliance! ILY Justin!! The Moodies forever my friends!! ♥♥
I'm new to You Tube. Probably for a reason. I've been waiting for a venue to share the feelings a song can have. And this is for my love who showed me what the Holy Spirit truly is. The love that grows stronger ever passing day. The love that proves the Divine. You left on 12-19-01 and were laid to rest 12-22-01. You bridged the gap by being Forever Autumn to Forever Spring and kept me from eternal winter. This is our song sweetheart. I'll finish it Hon. Believe in me as I believe in you. Mark
@TomGreenUK He performs flawlessly, saw him and of course the whole show last night and am still on a high, that music makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, Thunderchild and this does it everytime
I first heard this at my uncle's house, at the tender age of 7. I have loved this song ever since. I too believe that when Jeff Wayne was writing 'War of the Worlds', he knew who he was writing the songs for.
A timeless, Vibrant , exciting & stimulating musical extravaganza, a true visual masterpiece
This classic album brought to the stage in a live performance in nothing short of a miracle, the cast, musicians and J.W give their all in this production and it shows!
The DvD is superb, but being at the live show is awesome!!!, if you cant get to a show Buy the DvD,watch it on the biggest screen you can with a good sound system and you will NOT be dissappointed.
Although not written by The Moody Blues , there is no doubt who Jeff Wayne had seen in his mind for this magnificent piece of music ! So much that most people think that it was written by The Moody Blues !!!!!
the best musical ever made, and will forever be the musical to me for as long as i live. Fantastic tune, forever autumn the ultimate chill out song (as said by taz86919)
A very beautiful Song a Great Classic&MasterPiece. not even andrew lloyd webber could ever make a GREAT musical as the Legendary Jeff Wayne is simply GREAT webber should learn from Jeff Wayne for maybe 30+ years before webber would even be able to make something not even close to this Advanced& Beautiful Sci Fi Musical Masterpiece
The short answer is no -- no one has put the deep effort and vision (and blood sweat and tears) Jeff Wayne did to make this.
I SOOO want him to bring this to the States. But I suspect my arguments on other posts of this set of music has angered him, so he shall not make it so
in keeping with Well's story. If is odd to see him sing without his guitar but what a voice he has. I wish this would come to the U.S. Wayne is from NY. They say it is because the US is too big....COME ON!
The only part I could tolerate was when "Forever Autumn" played. When I was little that was my favorite song. I haven't watched but a few seconds of this video, I'm not sure what parts are in it.

That's a shame really because it's a beautiful soundtrack, musically, but i can totally understand why you feel thisway. Five is really young to be exposed to this type of sound. I kind of feel a bit like that but i was a lot older when i first heard it!

I've seen the show twice - in Nottingham in April 2006 and at the 02 Arena in London in December of 2007. Seeing Justin sing "Forever Autumn is definitely the high point of the show.
