Aloho hamkhun ithaw u nehwe hamkhun.

    Amin

  • avery thing good ,exept the aunty's song, poor

  • Very impressive and beautiful, thanks. :)

  • The happy couple looks absolutely stunning. They look like movie stars. I wish them a happy and long married life together.

  • we r the best

  • Syriac not Syrian

  • Is the music a voice-over/added or is it part of the ceremony?

  • @Pandea123 It is the part of ceremony

  • @sinoj76 Thx.

    It's very beautiful.

  • @kunjumaster In India if you look @ christians, we are leaving living peacefully from AD 52 Onwards (Kerala, Goa & Pondichery frm 16th ). In Kerala in my town we hve church build on AD 250 , those days lands were given free by the Hindu Kings & i can say that in Kerala( India) christians survived because of the kindness of Hindus. Problems are faced by Dozens of New life churches/Protestants who wants to increase their headcount by conversions and stuff. (And they Say ill about all religions)

  • @ASNCutd I completely agree...age old problem of foreigners coming in and not understanding culture...or pretending they dont...Orissa is a prime example

  • Domanda: quello che presiede è un vescovo? E gli altri due sono preti?

  • in Aramaic :)

    very good ;)

  • the preast is coptic not syrian ortodox

  • @TheOxo1 this is syriac orthodox, syriac and coptic are very similar in every thing, they called them non-khalkodian churches..

  • @fadfad1984 Ok! thank you for information. I was not aware of that.

  • god bless

  • God bless our church in India!

  • God bless our brothers from the other part of the world. God bless this old church who is blessed and mainly one of the oldiest church of christianity....Syriac orthodox church of antiochia

  • CHristanity in india dates back to AD 52. St Thomas travelled to kerala (India) and converted Hindus to christians.....We uses Syriac in our religious books so hence called Syrian CHristians. ( I'm a Syrian Orthodox christian). In Kerala christians are treated as kings because (30% of total population ) are christians, more over christians gave lot back to the society ie;hospitals ,schools & colleges.

  • @ASNCutd Brother we are referred to as Syrian Christians because the old books the Bawas brought over were originally written in Aramaic and yes u r right, Syriac is a dialect of middle Aramaic...when the Portuguese came, they destroyed most of our books...hence we nearly lost our identity...then they as well as other missionary ppl started converting lower caste hindus on a massive scale, hence angering most of the hindus, understandably...now there is persecution of Christians in India

  • @kunjumaster

Is it the case for the Syriac Orthodox community?

I saw pictures/articles of how nationalist Hindus threw firebombs att Christians in their cars and so burned them alive. But I always thought these were Protestants?

  • @Pandea123 I think most Hindus are the most peaceful people on this planet. Trust if most of the 800+Million Hindus hated Christians like that my family in Kerala and all over India would be exterminated by know. But their are those bad seeds, but that goes with every group of people. And the skin tone is average skin tone of all Indians if your talking about the crowd.

  • GOD BLESS !

  • beautiful, god bless u , ortodox serbia is with u

  • wooow thats so great to see in india! Im syriac too! god bless!

  • well i'm syrian orthordox (Suryoyo)

and this is afcourse in India but i live in The Netherlands and its not the same but some things are.

    God bless you all

  • this is in Kerala, India, One of the 2 states in India that has many Christians..

  • @thomas9504 wts the other?

  • @kunjumaster : Goa

  • @thomas9504 lol omg obviously...i was just wondering abt managlore and orissa problems...

  • @kunjumaster

Some pontecost pastors are trying to convert Hindu preists to their beleifs

They were in need of job and food..Not for faith

  • @josephuncle its correct not only hindus even orthodex i have been asked once

  • @josephuncle a pentecostal pastor trainee i knew told me its all fraud...I mean the guy who's training to become a pastor!!! I am not against conversions, but these aren't true conversions, ppl are being feed wrong information and are being made fools out of themselves...

  • God bless our church in India!

  • poor bride and groom! you can totally see the stress on their faces. i wish them all the best in their married life.

  • how manyarameics or syriacs are there in india, and do they have relation with yhe middle east church i hope so.

  • it's under the holy see of antioch, but im guessing most syrian christians wouldn't even know where antioch was. the church splintered a few times and some nasranis (as we're called) are under antioch and some under the vatican. i'd say we have more in common with each other and the rest of kerala than we do with the church in the middle east.

  • thanks 4 the information

  • @sandmansea 5.6 million in kerala...there is a fraction that did not accept Syriac Orthodox Patriarchs of Antioch...called Indian orthodox Christians...they split away from us...the portughese caused a lot of problems when they came over...did not accept our way of the church and tried to get us to swear lineage to the pope...

  • yes, we have orthodox from india, they are praying in syriac language

  • Well the part that the bischop is reciting is the exact one that we have in the assyrian/syrian/syriac church. And its not strange since its a branch of the same church

  • very nice that we have people all over the world this is mostly the work of seyedna hasyo yesu cicek gog have his soul he did alot for this people and i hope that the people who took over now avter he past away will continue his work god bles this people who have it alot harder than we that live in europe and america and god bless all the suryoye orthodox churches over the whole world

  • As a Catholic, me too.

  • This people looks like their from india not armenia.

  • we migrated in the 4th and 8th centuries in two waves and then we got mixed with the locals to a large extent. Most of us look a shade lighter and you do see quite a number of people with assyrian/persian/armenian features

  • How are Christians treated in that part of India?

  • Very well.

  • Oh come on! We don't look a shade lighter. There's as much diversity among nasranis as there is in the rest of the population.

  • @LeaF2277 u are right...lol but there is different shades of ppl in kerala...

  • @abeace yes thats right...it goes for most syrian christians but conversions were also made...

  • @abeace So it wasn't just me who thought that they were quite lighter than other Indians I have seen, who can be pitch black.

  • armenia? we are suryoye oromoye

  • nice suryoye

  • Tihe suryoye oromoye! Syriac/Aramean until we die! <3
