In my opinion, Bruce Dickinson's voice makes Iron Maiden better than a lot of metal bands (as Metallica even if style is different). His voice is an exception. Especially at his age (listen to "The Talisman"), in this kind of music (other lost their voice with smoking and alcohol :D or never had such a voice). Also, there is a lot of work on their songs very (progressive now). This is no commercial music. It never has been, maybe except for "no prayer for the dying".

Iron Maiden is the best band ever. Its not my favorite, but its the better. My father has all the Maiden albums from the first to Somewhere in Time in vinil. I spend hours apreciating the music and the albums of this awesome band.
I still tear up whenever I hear this song and think about the world around us. Thank you, Iron Maiden, for making sure we opened our eyes, and keep them open to look at the world around us. And thanks for asking the questions others refuse to ask. I'm definitely a better person for it.

It's about a weekend's casual read and an interesting revelation for first-time readers, but you probably won't be able to stop reading it once you've gotten past the geneology in chapter one.

A more practical example I would pay ten bucks if your wife goes in Western clothing in a Moscee without didn't getting picked on.
I litteraly know people who get angry for being an atheist.
In The USA are Atheist the most hated people.
No as I said we should take an example to the Bhoedist/Hindoeist I' ve never heard of terrorism from those sides.
Of course you still have Israel wars, koerds who getting killed for their believes and yet you still hear terrorism attacks for fate.

@luigi1932 I would just say the wife in the Mosque is a bad example....if she CHOOSES to go into one, she should respect the customs they have. Restaurants have rules about dress too sometimes. If you choose to go somewhere, it's not necessarily bad to respect their rules.
But I agree with you about Atheists in the USA. I'm not Atheist...but the fact that it can be shameful (in some parts of the USA) to say that you are is pretty embarassing.

One of the most important reasons I am not a fan of the most religions, they can't stand when you disagree with them.
The church would trow you in jail/execute you in the time that they could.
The islam would kill you.
And all of that for believes, they should learn from bhoedists and still respect eachother no matter which fate you have.
The reason that I listen to Iron Maiden is that they are the best band by really really far.

@luigi1932 Which "church" exactly are you talking about? The Christian church? The TRUE Christian church? I don't think so. Neither does Islam necessitate killing. Those who wish to justify their rejection of any spiritual force in the universe will succumb to the "straw man" logical fallacy and attack a falsely-stereotyped version of religion. True Christianity does not advocate killing people who reject the religion. Take a look at muslimmetalman's comment - get your facts straight first.

Iron maiden are religious. They are just very patriotic, AND value human life. That is a lot of contradictions, so it's hard to see their "angle"

such a masterpiece of a song. i know people say it all the time, but i really feel horrible that there's people that can listen to this song and just be completely ignorant to what good music is. i know, music is opinion, but there's no denying good music, whether you're a metal head or someone who likes techno, or someone who listens to pop.

@metalrulesforrever agreed, but you're way off the mark if you think any religions today advocate "holy war." Sure there were idiots in the past who used the name of religion to advance their ends. But God doesn't want us to kill to spread any religion. That's entirely opposed to the nature of religion. A better question to ask is, "What if there is a God? What happens then?" You're in trouble. Following God when He doesn't exist is not bad - rejecting God when He does exist is big trouble.

Interesting and worthwhile song. I would recommend that everyone read the Bible's book of Matthew (preferably the New International Version...plain standard English and good scholarship, with footnotes for any words/phrases in dispute.)
It's about a weekend's casual read and an interesting revelation for first-time readers, but you probably won't be able to stop reading it once you've gotten past the geneology in chapter one.
So far the actual practicing Christians probably come closest.
