  • Another 118.5 million dollars in stimulus money down the drain. Lithium ion battery maker Ener1 filed for bankruptcy today after being given taxpayer dollars by goodie two shoes Obama. Another Green Energy fiasco from the dumbest Administration in the history of mankind. Jimmy Carter is so happy ! ! Someone other than him will now be considered the worst president ever ! ! !

  • @shootertx51 you might also include president bush, indiana gov mitch daniels (who delivered the anti-state of the union speech), indiana repub senator dick lugar and indiana rep dan burton, all big boosters of ener1. daniels gave them a big chunk of state money. you say you're not a repub so you shouldn't have a problem including them in your critique.

not everything is going to pan out in new tech. completely abandoning investment is not a sensible response. we'll either be buyers or sellers.

  • @tishhead okay let's include them then. I have no problem with it. They are all idiots.

  • @shootertx51 yes, why don't we all just stay fixed to our 19th century technology and pay ever higher costs for gas and pollute the hell out of our country. let's leave the innovation to other countries. it's too tough for america. we'll just buy it from them.

  • @tishhead <-----------Supports feeding Monkey's ,instead of freeing them !

  • @tishhead People complain about the Corporate / Government incest in the /Country and then endorse it as okay, when it's for green energy All we here nowadays from the left is how evil corporations are and then the left defends the corporations and rich (Buffet) who jump in bed with them. Pretty sickening.

  • @tishhead and we don't need to leave innovation to the other counties you idiot. you can do what has always been done. we developed the bomb and other countries either bought or stole the technology from us. if england develops the superior solar bullshit, buy it from them. if that fails, steal it. WE don't have to be the country that spends all the money and gets no results. let the other guys foot the bill and make the mistakes. it isn't rocket science, it is very simple

  • @wgnwheel1 the world is simple to some people. as i said it is much better to be sellers than buyers. your statement that govt involvement hasn't helped is absurdity on steroids. you're typing on an innovation that got a huge boost from govt. look at the defense depts investment in the devlopment of semiconductors. that's 1 of about 10,000 examples. you don't think the hoover dam has helped us? and you think a private company would have built that on their own? lunacy.

  • @tishhead On the positive, the government can invest in basic research of which the private sector considers the potential returns too weak. On the downside, our current programs are to driven to special interests. The poster child for this is GM and the Volt, both an economic and technical fail. For specific investments like that, the private market, or venture capitalists, are better suited for discerning which can give a greater return on investment, and be successful as a consumer product

  • @tishhead of course, gov't has helped. it has helped slow technology and jack up the prices. but you retards always bash reagan on the starwars technology. how much of that tech. are we using now. you only like gov't involvement when you can give the dems credit and disavow it when the repubs do it. you can't have it both ways. and the hoover dam was a govt project, not a gov't finance R&D. R&D and final product left in the hands of individuals will always run circles around gov't.

  • @wgnwheel1 really? you want to cite star wars? we have managed to slice off tiny pieces of useful technology out of a grotesque boondoggle that dwarfs anything the dems have done in green energy. trillions flushed down the john.

keep typing on your computer and believing that the internet was a creation of private enterprise.

  • @tishhead trillions flushed. bullshit. obamas admin has given a trillion to companies that went bankrupt immediately. and star wars was a big waste and that was my point. but it didn't cost us nearly as much as the green technology that obama has paid for. and if the internet would have been private, we would have it alot cheaper now. when the phone companies and elec. companies were completely private, we had better service. when the gov't stepped in, service went to hell and price is up

  • @wgnwheel1 you don't even pretend to care about facts, do you? green investments cost more than star wars? go sleep it off. you're not a serious participant in the conversation.

or maybe you can get behind newt's plan to put a base on the moon.

  • @tishhead if you move, I will support the base on the moon. send all the liberals there. as for newt, I support very little, if any, of that morons views.

  • @wgnwheel1 it always fascinates me how much the rightys instinctively go for the "if you disagree with me, move" approach. it's closely related to the instinct to keep people from being able to vote. they know that if everyone eligible participated, their arguments would lose virtually every time.

  • @tishhead your the one who brought up the moon. I don't care if you move or if you disagree with me. that is your right. but when you use your rights to interfere with my rights, then you are in the wrong. and voting for gun control or more gov't programs that take more of my money IS a good example of you using your rights to limit my rights. so then, moving would be my response.

  • @wgnwheel1 didn't you once say you would vote against abortion rights for women and same-sex marriage? are you for legalizing all drugs?

  • @tishhead Yes I said that. abortion and same sex marriage are both against my religion, and for me to do nothing is a sin. as for drugs, go ahead and legalize. you don't understand or care for facts surrounding abortion or religion, so you have no horse in that race.

  • @tishhead and abortion isn't a right. it is a fast cure for not taking responsibility beforehand. If women want to be responsible for their bodies, then they can start that responsibility before they become pregnant, and not kill the product of their irresponsibility.

  • @tishhead where were you when i asked for input on the voter ID issue?

  • @tishhead You need to go buy a Volt. You'll sleep better. Even though the stupid thing runs on coal (it's electricity source, as if you didn't know).

  • @tishhead but if it makes you feel better, you just keep believing that the government, and especially obama, all have your best interests at heart. anyone who believes that is the worlds biggest fool.

  • @wgnwheel1 LOL, the plans for the "Hoover" Dam were actually laid out during the Hoover administration, as "Grand Coulee Dam". Much of the blame for the Great Depression is laid at the feet of Herbert Hoover; what is little discussed is that Hoover was by trade and engineer and a great admirer of Keynes; much of the groundwork for the New Deal and what FDR did as Public Works was actually started by Hoover.

  • @828johng what does that have to do with anything. I was making a point that the technology to build hoover dam was not paid for by the gov't, per se. most of it was already known technology that private sector paid for. He brought up Hoover as a gov't technology project, rather than just a project the gov't financed. but then tish is the biggest idiot on YT

  • @wgnwheel1 It's an example of the type of infrastructure project which the private sector cannot get involved with. My issue is with government financing of individual initiative projects, Solyndra being the most infamous, or even the bailout of GM. We have had successful examples of government involvement into pure science, such as atomic develpoement, or the initial developement of the internet, but this was based on inquiries into basic science, not gov acting as a venture capitalist.

  • @828johng You are basically stating what I am. you are just making it a little clearer. I don't believe GM was as broke as was claimed. I think it was a backdoor deal for the gov't to take it over and the upper assholes to get richer. basically, GM and Jeep/Chrysler have had gov't contracts for years, so how can Ford be ok when gm is broke? but in reality, the gov't has no business "giving" our money away to anyone, regardless of reason.

  • @wgnwheel1 I agree, but GM was actually in worse shape than claimed. In any normal business which cannot complete it's commitments a reorganisation is called for; but in the case of GM this would have meant a renegotiation of the UAW contract, which was politically unpalatable at the time. As to Chrysler, it's holding company Cerberus had enough capital on hand to save the operation, but instead raked the taxpayer over the coals by yet another "doom and gloom" prophecy!

  • @828johng either way, if a company cannot make it on its own, bye bye. If I can't make it, no one is bailing me out. as for tish, he will disagree with everything I say. even if I told him the president was half white, he would call me a liar and say he is half black, so I, in turn, but zero stock in what comes out of that welfare whores mouth.

  • @tishhead then give the guys with the technology free rein on producing solar energy. with gov't in the mix, all that is happening are shill companies stealing taxpayer money and politicians getting kickbacks. It is not the governments job to dole out my money to companies. if a company can't make it on its own, it is also equally obvious that govt intervention is not going to help. and don't give me the GM bs either. they weren't in as much trouble as they let on, and now govt owns them.

  • @wgnwheel1

I'm waiting to see how much our investment in wind power - the biggest in the world is going to turn out. It could be a disaster, I'm hoping not. But the fact is, if you look historically, nurturing new ways of thinking industrially or in terms of energy has been part private sector and govt in the developed world.

  • @MsMessines I feel that if you let the private sector responsible for raising their own money, they use it wiser and usually develop a better product for less money than when the gov't gets involved. there is not one thing that I can think of where gov't involvement resulted in a superior, yet less expensive, service or product.

  • @wgnwheel1

I agree on that - to a certain extent. There are plenty of private sector cos that want to develop in renewable energy but they are small fry. How do we get round the problem that our natural resources are evaporating??

  • @MsMessines Globally, we actually have a vast amount of resources. Not just oil, but natural gas, hydrogen, solar. The issue is what is economically viable, which can vary based on both geography and economic conditions.

  • @828johng

I can only give you what's been going on here - projects to see how self sufficient we are here, all about renewable energy. And given this is a govt motivated by independence I reckon the investments can't afford to be reckless.

  • @MsMessines Of course, there are the dual issues of energy independence and national independence running through the discussion, and as a land-locked island have limited options. The issue is exploiting the most economically sound means based on the situation; I've just been reading a paper by the School of Geography and Geosciences at the University of St. Andrews on the subject!

  • @828johng Oops, I meant isolated, not land-locked!

  • @828johng

I think energy independence is going to be the biggest competition. I have been following my own devolved government here - it's all about renewable energy. It is both business and govt backed. Without govt assistance this type of energy would never have flown.

  • @MsMessines Tell me is this a normal thing for you and John on a Friday night ?

  • @MsMessines Energy is, of course, the lifeblood for any economy. I think the biggest question I would have to ask is why the government had to take the lead in alternative energies, rather than the private sector. Since the private sector rates all projects by risk or rate of return, is the issue that the rate of return was too low, i.e., that the rate of return too small?

  • @828johng

Easy, I can tell you why here - political necessity!! The SNP has to show we can be economically viable from the rest of the UK and basically they are relying on renewable energy and north sea oil.

  • @MsMessines I see that. But my question is how that compares with the cost of imported fossil fuels. Why has the private sector stayed out? Is the cost of "renewable" energy so much higher than the cost of imported fuels?

  • @828johng "renewable energy" is a myth.

  • jeb (the smart one) bush on harsh anti-immigration laws:

"Hispanic voters hear these debates and see the ramifications of the Alabama law and other things like that and get turned off. It’s not a good thing — I know this will sound a little crazy — but I happen to believe that if swing voters decide elections and swing voters in swing states are the most important voters in the presidential race, and if you send a signal that turns them off, that’s a bad thing."

  • @osho575 "do you often find yourself going to the park"

No Timmy, I don't have the time. I'm too busy with people paying me $300 per hour for my advice.

  • @osho. I already proved you as the fake troll you are. Get the hell out of here retard.

  • @ELI3K You're right about old man osho. I just view his comments as comedy now. They're actually kinda hilarious, like a parody of a typical gun toting, paranoid, right wing, ignorant, bible thumping, hypocritical redneck.

  • @ELI3K Yes, you did show him up rather well. He's nothing but a windsock.

  • Xenophobia, seems to be a favorite term used by leftist morons who are just so happy to demean Americans who are rightfully concerned about the futures of our families, our nation. So, any halfwit using that term, it's tantamount to them waving their arms saying, "I'm a retard, look at me. On my own I'd be sitting in a mud hut drooling, but here I am destroying a nation. Yippee, yippee!"

  • @osho575 <----- "You might be a redneck"....if you believe a word this old fucker says.

  • These right-wing radical moon-walkers are all for protecting freedom of speech............... as long as it's their freedom of speech they're protecting. Otherwise fuck everyone else! :))

  • FUCK ALL OF YOU DEMOCRAT LOSERS.

  • Thank you asshole obama for marshall law,the military is policing the streets of Los Angeles Ca..Fuck off obama!

  • @IMurderdTheDevil Hey retard, you spelled "martial" wrong.

  • @IMurderdTheDevil Someone is hurt. Wait IMTD! Let me get you a tissue.

  • @Athruebelief Let me put a shotgun to your face..

  • @IMurderdTheDevil <-----Low IQ & Conservative Beliefs Linked to Prejudice

  • @Athruebelief <-- No IQ and an obama cocksucker.

  • @IMurderdTheDevil Smart enough not to vote for Bush Jr. Bwahahahahaha!

  • @Athruebelief <---Ya, and super stupid enough to vote for obama LOL! LOSER!

  • @IMurderdTheDevil Yup! I voted for obama, and i'll do it again. OBAMA 2012!

  • @Athruebelief Ya,,you need need somebody to hold your hand..You're a moron..

  • @IMurderdTheDevil I was having a sh***y day until you came along to put a smile on my face, and made me laugh all the while making an a** out of yourself. I am laughing at you not with you. Thank You Jason!

  • @Athruebelief<-- Yu! I voted for obama,,who cares if the military is policing our streets...You fucking retard..

  • @IMurderdTheDevil "marshall law" lolololol.....hahahahaha...you fucking RETARD. Even Conchita spells better than you do.

  • @endrightwinglunacy "The Los Angeles Police Department will be providing support for a joint military training exercise in and around the great Los Angeles area," the release stated. "This will be routine training conducted by military personnel, designed to ensure the military’s ability to operate in urban environments, prepare forces for upcoming overseas deployments, and meet mandatory training certification requirements."

IMTD is hilarious! Jason's a whimp!

  • @Athruebelief Whenever there's a show of force, Jason gets all pouty and jealous of the real men. No wonder, look at those fucking legs!

  • @endrightwinglunacy The LA Police department gave Jason 3 freaking days notice on what was going on. Where does the moron live? In a dog house? Lmao!

  • @Athruebelief He lives with his German dog and Mexican wife. And he loves his sister's Chinese dog. Yet he's a facist xenophobic piece of shit.

  • @endrightwinglunacy looks like the newt bubble is deflating again. the only thing that can stop mittens now is an atom bomb in his tax returns (though the secret swiss bank account is certainly not helpful to him.)

  • @tishhead Newt always finds a way to shoot himself in the foot. What a bloody choice Tish: Romney or Gingrich! I would be hopping mad if I was a Repub.

  • @endrightwinglunacy i saw parts of the interview the president did with diane sawyer. he looks like he's having a very difficult time keeping a straight face. i think obama is a talented guy, but man, has the guy been lucky with his opponents through the years.

  • @tishhead Sawyer is following the Palin model. Write a few shitty books and concoct some public displays of "anger". She wants her 15 mins goddamit. She's praying for a call from Romney's camp for the VP spot.

  • @endrightwinglunacy would have loved to have been on air force 1 on the way back to washington and listened to the president and his people joking about the crazy lady of arizona.

  • Comment removed

  • @tishhead Not Sawyer, I meant Jan Brewer. Duh...time for me to get to bed methinks!

  • @endrightwinglunacy @tishhead Good night guys.

  • @Athruebelief If you're interested in learning ---- v=wDyDxgJuaDY

It's also the featured video on my channel. About 45 minutes long.

Partisans have a difficult time when learning the facts surrounding the history of the U.S. and the struggle between Nationalists and the Jeffersonian Libertarians. The battle has been won by the Nationalists who exist in both current parties. Today our lives are under the control of a strong Central Government. It was not intended to be.

  • @tishhead You hear Jeb Bush? He's worried gingrinch's stance against illegals is going to hurt the hispanic vote.

  • @Athruebelief actually, i think mittens has taken the harder line on that issue. the repubs still don't seem to get the fact that they can't give up 90-plus percent of the black vote and 65 percent of the hispanic vote and think they'll be able to win.

  • @tishhead youtube is messed up.

  • @BuffaloBillius The duck waddling, gray haired fat mop-head wanted an open marriage? LOL. What an ego! What woman in her right mind would want that blotchy, wrinkled whale blubber laying on top of her? The word in Washington is that he also has chronic stinky breath. Ewwwwww......what a fucking catch!

  • @endrightwinglunacy The CBC described Newt as a true Libertarian--at least as far as the state of marriage is concerned.

  • @wilmanric1 we've had a another first-hand experience with the "greatest healthcare system in the world." i'll PM you about it if you're interested (it may involve legal action).

  • @tishhead I'm sorry to hear abou that, but feel free to

    PM me.

  • @tishhead Shitter and old man osho had better switch over to Romney, after Newt's defense of "undocumented" illegals:

"We're not going to walk in there and grab a grandmother out and then kick them out," Gingrich said.

  • @endrightwinglunacy Tish, you , and i should come up with our top ten hilarious things the extreme right wing youtubers on this channel have said. Jason's military police state has to be up there. Osho should get top honors. Badva in top 5.

  • @endrightwinglunacy Jason's afraid the military will find his meth & mary jane labs, and take away his illegal wife conchita. Bwahahahah!

  • @IMurderdTheDevil Your a riot! What a dumba**!

  • @IMurderdTheDevil Your a riot! What a dumba**! Let's just tell the military the urban combat training is not necessary for our troops cause jason's afraid they will take away his illegal wife conchita. LOL!

  • @Athruebelief why don't we feed their paranoia and tell them we'll vote for the president 10 times.

  • @tishhead It's getting to the point with the morons here where i am seriously considering going to the ghetto, picking up a ton of people, and driving them to the polls just to piss them off.

  • @Athruebelief you don't have to do it. just tell them you did. tell them you also picked up a bunch of illegals and took them in for their free health care.

  • @tishhead Romney or Gingrich? Not much longer, and the right will flip a coin on it.

  • @ELI3K Isn't marshall a college?

  • @ELI3K <--- this asshole is concerned with my spelling instead of being concerned with the military policing our streets..what an asshole!

  • @ELI3K LOL! Osho is a moron.

  • @ELI3K LOL! Osho is a moron. You caught her.

  • @ELI3K LOL! Osho is a moron. You caught her.

  • @ELI3K N-osho is a complete moron with nothin to offer.

  • @ELI3K N-osho is a complete moron with nothin to offer.

  • i just saw jan brewer on tv claiming she felt "threatened" by the president. i believe she has just thrown down the gauntlet for palin, bachmann, sharron angle and witchy o'donnell -- you've got a long way to match me in the crazy sweepstakes, ladies!

  • Comment removed

  • @ELI3K yes. i think you should probably just treat osho as the circus act that he is.

  • Newt Gingrich thinks he is the next Ronald Reagan. Hilarious. Reagan will not hand the torch to a guy like Gingrich and Pelosi thinks she has info that will destroy him during his campaign. yes you liberals, I'm a conservative who opposes Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich. LOL!!

  • @avidEAGLE did you see the quotes from newt ripping reagan as a failure? of course, ronald reagan the reality was no ronald reagan the myth. by the standards of people here, reagan was a marxist.

  • Comment removed

  • @tishhead I do recall reagan calling the blacks in south africa communists for going against apartheid. South Africa that communist den of scum (sarcasm). LOL!

  • @Athruebelief i don't know if reagan was a racist, but he certainly had no trouble catering to them.

  • @avidEAGLE Funny how fiscally responsible anti-illegal immigrant smaller government right wingers would follow reagan when he clearly was the exact opposite in his actions.

  • yeah, you too.

  • Take it easy

  • Shooter what are you doing? It's late and there's no one here but you and me.

  • @ELI3K lol I'm done for now. I won;t be bothering anyone for awhile. lol

  • The three-legged stool that supported the fantasy of the social welfare state for the last 100+ years was based on the following:

    Prosperity is available without effort.

    Government creates prosperity.

Government will take care of its people

Politicians were able to support this hoax only with “other people’s money.” It is now apparent to many that none of these premises were true.

  • and manage virtually every aspect of our lives, a majority of voters believe the myth.

Even the term “welfare state” was phony. It was a marketing euphemism to avoid the proper, but pejorative, description — Socialism. The euphemism conveniently conveyed the Bismarckian myth that government cared for and could take care of its citizens.

In reality, the social welfare state was backdoor Socialism.

  • @shootertx51 Gnite.

  • @VirginiaCityVigiLanT Good night.

  • @VirginiaCityVigiLanT Goodnite VCV.

  • The Advance of Socialism

For almost one hundred years, Bismarckian bribery, via an expanding welfare state, has been the predominant political strategy. Over time strategies grew bolder, ratcheting to higher levels each election cycle.

Today modern economies are being destroyed by Socialism as practiced via the welfare state. After generations of propagandizing Statism, the goodness of government, intervention as a necessary means to equity and prosperity and the need to invade and --->>

  • Politicians loved buying votes as evidenced by political campaigns where competing political factions tried to outbid each other with more “freebies.”

  • Eventually tradition and law succumbed to the incessant battering of progressive activists in the US. The people’s defense against government tyranny was weakened. Government was then emboldened to redefine itself in almost whatever fashion it chose.

Bismarck’s method of “bribery” was the model that altered the nature of politics practiced in democracies. With voter bribery, Government as Santa Claus was possible. The people loved this myth and the initial effects.

  • Progressives in the US initially used the “general welfare” clause of the Constitution as justification for a social welfare state. Deliberate ignorance and distortion of the Founders’ original intent was an important aspect of their attacks. Subsequent attacks used the argument that the Constitution was a “living document” meant to be changed to reflect modern day”needs.”

  • dont hear to much about youzentube anymore :(

  • @jred414 Yeah.Howdy! I gotta crash. Sorry to monopolize.

  • Tradition and law were eventually brushed aside. The US, constrained by a magnificently sculptured Constitution and a predisposition toward liberty, held out longer than its European counterparts. Its later start and slower progression is a fact often cited as a reason why the US economy was able grow from a backwoods beginning to an economic colossus by the early 1900s.

  • Politicians in Western democracies saw the power in Bismarck’s idea and patterned their careers on winning election and re-election via the Bismarckian bribe. Convincing the public that government existed for their sake and their welfare enabled expansion into areas previously considered off limits.

  • "My idea was to bribe the working classes, or shall I say, to win them over, to regard the state as a social institution existing for their sake and interested in their welfare."

    Otto von Bismarck

  • @shootertx51 The right is doing a bang up job for us in regards to welfare when they decide to protect high school drop-outs.

  • The answer was CH2MHILL bought Veco after the political fallout due to corrupt dealings with Senator Ted Stevens.

IF you were from Alaska AT ALL, you would have known that. The only thing you could come up with is the North Slope. You are pathetic girl. I copied this whole exchange tonight.

    BYE OSHO!!!!!

  • @ELI3K Lol! Sure, why's dat? Because I didn't answer an obscure question that would only make sense in your small delusional mind anyway? Lol! Slope, what's that, the angle of your forehead from the eye ridge to the crown? I pity whoever has to tolerate you on a job. I'll bet you move just like you think.

  • @Krista You can't answer the question cause you're full of shit

  • @ELI3K Yeah, the North Slope, what? My main business in Alaska is commercial fishing. I've been here in Nevada, off and on for three years. Your take on taxes on investment income tells me that you live hand to mouth, but ta eighty thou a year with a family, that's all you can do. Nothing can be left to think about investing. I was making eighty when it was worth probably four hundred k in today's dollars. Good luck dude.

  • @osho575 BUSTED BITCH

  • @osho575 DENY, DENY, DENY, ATTACK!

  • does she go over what she's gonna say at all?

  • Are you guys getting this? Give me a head count here please. How many are seeing this right now?

  • @ELI3K Hey there Eli.

I'm seeing for the first time at 10:30 am, PST. Too bad I missed the play-by-play.

  • It was a simple question I asked.

  • @ELI3K Osho is using an i-pod and can only respond infrequently. He told me that the other day when I got my nose out of joint.Thought he was ignoring me.

  • @VirginiaCityVigiLanT You seen that. Osho is a liar here and not to be trusted.

It was an EASY question for someone from Alaska. The international airport in Anchorage is named after Ted Stevens for God's sake!

  • @ELI3K I wasn't paying attention, actually.I saw something about CH2MHILL, but it made no sense to me.

  • OSHOOOOO Where are you??????????

  • C'mon imagination girl, google faster!

  • @osho You have no idea what Im talking about do you

  • @ELI3K. Under Obama's mismanagement this nations economy is shutting down and the buying power of the dollar is plummeting. You don't see it because you're not involved in buying material, as an independent contractor. The dollar is being propped up by a weakening EURO and massive counterfeiting by the Marxist Obama regime. And, news you're on YouTube because YOU have nothing going on. I can tell by the way you use words that you are a very second rate worker.

  • osho575 I tell you what... Give me the name of the construction company that bought another major construction company recently on the slope. You are being timed

  • @ELI3K. You think I have nothing because I'm making 50k at a retirement job, because I want to support the Second Amendment, not because I have to work? I own, paid for commercial fishing vessels, a couple of other businesses and several s
