It brought the greatest love of beach shagging music to me and so much fun with friends, It was a great place and I'm sure everyone misses it. yeah i live in N.C, but we always seem to go to south carolina's beaches instead of our own. it feels weird to go to the coast of your own state sometimes cause its like, wow i could live here, but you can't.

im a real local of horry county (born and raised in the tobacco country) and fat harolds is an institution!!! best fried bologna sandwiches ever. shagging is something everybody in my family does and i learned by watching my grandparents in the kitchen. they would always play beach music and this was one of their favorites. so proud of my home :)

I have been to Fat Harold's . It's great !! I love beach music and watching people shag. They have Free Shag lessions on tuesday night. And the BEST Bolona Sandwiches.

Where? Along a shoreline? Yea! I'm only half a centenarian, so last summer was full of shorline/dune/bluff shaggin'. Midwestern style, that is. Along the, "I'd stack it's expansive, soaring dunes, rolling and undulating, varying remote terrain against the best", sand, surf & shag situations anywhere else in the lower 48.
