I'm pretty sure the guy sitting next to Alan is his OLDER brother, David. His younger brother, Michael is the tennis coach & is probably there somewhere anyway. For those that need to know, Alan has three siblings: David (2 years older) who is a graphic designer, Michael (2 years younger than him), & - the only girl - the youngest of them all, Sheila (who can often be seen accompanying him to things) who is two years younger than Michael, i.e. 4 years younger than Alan :-)

God, I was watching the match with my father and when I saw him I stood up and ran to the TV. I was like "AAAAAA! ALAN, ALAN, IT'S ALAN! DAD, LOOK, ALAN'S THERE!" After this I wasn't watching Djokovic or Nadal anymore, but staring at the TV and waiting to see him again. :D

you know i watched that match at home on one of our local sports channels, when this cam up i was screaming, alan rickman!! snape!! alan rickman!!, and the comentator? did not say a word. i almost called the station and have them roll the tape back and announce alan's appearance. :-))

@sharylm Really?! I didn't even know he had any siblings! Their clothings do look alike (nice suit and I like that red sunglasses!)...their faces... not so... He's a very lucky fellow, though, (brother or not of Alan): how many people get the chance to actually sit beside him, for, like, 3 hours? It's so difficult to know that everyone is a 'normal' person and does 'normal' things!
