I have a doubt. The brittany standar of the american kennel club says than the colors are orange&white and liver&white, and black is a disquialification¿¿??, I'm from Argentina and the standar here (french standar) acetps of course the black color.
The AKC only recognizes the American Brittany in the USA. The American Brittany standard is either Orange & White or Liver & White with a "pink or liver" nose. The USA doesn't recognize the Epagneul Breton (or French Brittany) for show.
The French Brittany of course is the Brittany Spaniel that is seen in all other parts of the world. Acceptable colors are Orange&White, Liver&White, Black&White, Tri-color and Grey. Roan varities of all of these colors are acceptable too.
Have they started playing with the dear yet ?
Had a Liver&White that would chase and be chased by the dear in my backyard.

I remember once I was riding my bike with my dad and sister, and we saw a deer directly in front of someone's house!!!
