The COMS system can communicate with any aircraft or ground station on HF, UHF, VHF, & JTIDS voiceless datalinks. Ms Maddow obviously doesn't know any of this let alone cares on speaking the truth. The most important point is that Russia and India are going be profited from this true fighter aircraft with many export orders. When you say export orders what is USA going to do against small countries who will have PAK-FA to knock down F22 or atleast to stand equal with greatest so far USAF. (Rome had its time now?).

What about PAK-FA which is a new Fifth Generation Aircraft and a brand new one. Which is three times cheaper than F22, will have less maintenance cost, all weather conditions (will not cry to go out in rain like F22), move maneuverable than F22, new onboard electronic which can even communicate with other Russian aircrafts, new generation processor and AI which will reduce the work load for the pilot, new radar which includes L Band arrays in the flaps, new and upgraded weapon.

The F-22s cried off, claiming that they were "unstealthed" anyway, although the next day´s scheduled two vs. two BWR engagement was canceled, and "the USAF decided they didn´t want to play anymore. When this incident was reported on a website frequented by front-line RAF aircrew a senior RAF officer urged an end to the conversation on security grounds". Recently even a F18 had a lock on F22. Then why not Su-30’s and Mig-35’s with its new AESA radars.

You know why because in 2006 OEU trials there have been repeated reports that two RAF Typhoons deployed to the USA for OEU trails work have been flying against the F-22 at NAS China Lake, and have performed better than was expected. There was little surprise that Typhoon, with its world-class agility and high off-boresight missile capability was able to dominate "Within Visual Range" flight, but the aircraft did cause a surprise by getting a radar lock on the F22 at a surprisingly long range.
Why was the F22 not flying against Su-30 MKI's in previous Red Flag. Oh I know the pentagon was afraid that the truth about F22 will be revealed. Was all F22’s engaged on fight against Russian air superiority fighters. NO the F22 has and will not face any of the Russian air superiority fighters.

How can you say that it will cost 100 million when it's not even operational? It's only flew. The raptor was flying in the mid 90's. Now they have to weaponise it which will take more time and add to the cost. And the Mig is not better than a F 16. Each is better in certain situations.

Being almost invisible to radar, can attack and destroy multiple targets. According to wikipedia unit cost of 2009 was 140mil. So it can destroy up to 4 targets at a time (if i remember correctly) thats 4 rafale-s =360mil. So it will deliver heck of a more punch to enemies budget than US-es.

in BVR su-35bm have much better missiles (R-77M) who have bigger range,speed and maneuverability than aim-120D.

F-22 has a smaller RCS (stealth characteristics) and SU-35bm a more powerful radar.However, when the mathematical calculations, F-22 will be able to detect su-35bm from slightly longer distance,although a weaker radar.But to do this f-22 has need to turno on radar,and than he will reveal their position, because the pilot SU-35BM on his RWR will catch his radar radiation,and then become equal.

I don't argue that the F22 is advanced and amazing and all, but the problem is that its been around for quite a while, and in an era where technology evolves rapidly I feel that the jet is fast approaching its expiration date. I would much rather spend money and time to design and build a new jet than to revive an airframe that has never seen true combat and numerous technical issues.

The COMS system can communicate with any aircraft or ground station on HF, UHF, VHF, & JTIDS voiceless datalinks. Ms Maddow obviously doesn't know any of this let alone cares on speaking the truth. It's a program the left targeted like all other major defense programs. They did it with the B-1B, the M-1A1/2 Abrams, the AH-64, many other programs. If we allowed people like Ms Maddow to be 100 % in charge of our Nation's Defense, we wouldn't have a Military or a country to defend!!!!!

When the f 22 uses radio silence, to aid in it's stealth capability, it can communicate with other f22's, something the f-117 couldn't do during radio silence. The communications suite is the most advance in the world.

What about PAK-FA which is a new Fifth Generation Aircraft and a brand new one. Which is three times cheaper than F22, will have less maintenance cost, all weather conditions (will not cry to go out in rain like F22), move maneuverable than F22, new onboard electronic which can even communicate with other Russian aircrafts, new generation processor and AI which will reduce the work load for the pilot, new radar which includes L Band arrays in the flaps, new and upgraded weapon.

The F-22s cried off, claiming that they were "unstealthed" anyway, although the next day´s scheduled two vs. two BWR engagement was canceled, and "the USAF decided they didn´t want to play anymore. When this incident was reported on a website frequented by front-line RAF aircrew a senior RAF officer urged an end to the conversation on security grounds". Recently even a F18 had a lock on F22. Then why not Su-30’s and Mig-35’s with its new AESA radars.

You know why because in 2006 OEU trials there have been repeated reports that two RAF Typhoons deployed to the USA for OEU trails work have been flying against the F-22 at NAS China Lake, and have performed better than was expected. There was little surprise that Typhoon, with its world-class agility and high off-boresight missile capability was able to dominate "Within Visual Range" flight, but the aircraft did cause a surprise by getting a radar lock on the F22 at a surprisingly long range.

Rachel Maddow is such a MORON! She doesn't bother to mention that it's kill ratio is approx. 244 to 0 in mock battles. This plane is incredible, and she doesn't mention any of it. The cost is 356 million per plane only because they built a fraction they were supposed to and you factor in R&D. Production was supposed to be over 1,000. Most of the USAF--including the pilots--applauded its performance and warned Obama of the dangers in stopping production too soon.

The Su-37's life ended when T10M-11 (serial 711) was lost in a crash on flying a ferry flight in Russia. The aircraft was not fitted with the TVC engines at the time of the crash. No other Su-27Ms have been converted to Su-37 specifications, nor has the Su-37 design entered production. The Su-37 was never an official designation recognized by the Russian Air Force. The crash of 711 effectively means the end of the Su-37 as we have known since 1996.

Sukhoi used payments earned in the sale of an Su-27 license to China to finance the Su-37 development. Russia's Air Force has not ordered any Su-37s. Sukhoi is studying the possibility of developing a two-seat version of the Su-37 with enhanced strike capabilities.
The Su-37 multirole fighter is furnished with the full range of onboard systems and equipment, and is a prototype of the series production aircraft.
They have grounded them due to engine problems.

How can you say that it will cost 100 million when it's not even operational? It's only flew. The raptor was flying in the mid 90's. Now they have to weaponise it which will take more time and add to the cost. And the Mig is not better than a F 16. Each is better in certain situations.

The Mig's and Su's can do all of the high G flips they want, because when doing those maneuvers, they can't fire. The F-22 can keeps its nose continuously pointed at any other aircraft, allowing it to fire anytime. Even though it can do these high G maneuvers, there's rarely a case for such a maneuver.

they are launched on the target, so as to lock the opposing plane with the help of IRST, OLS without the use of radar. In the second case when the launches anti-radar missiles, then through the RWR determine the direction from which radiation comes from opponent radar and launches in that direction.U both cases, the opponent does not know that the missile are launched.I do not hate USA.I do not hate USA.and i em against f-22 because it is a plane that is not worth the money spent on it

YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHERE THAT "TARGET" IS FIRST BEFORE YOU SHOOT YOUR MISSILE! YOU HAVE TO KNOW ITS LOCATION, RANGE, SPEED AND HEADING, AND! YOU HAVE TO BE CERTAIN OF ITS ID (FRIEND OR FOE). YOU NEED RADAR TO DO THAT. IRST/OLS WON'T DO IT.
AND AGAIN, LOCATING A VLO PLATFORM AT BVR IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, EVEN WITH "POWERFUL" RADAR. THE ONLY WAY THE FLANKER WILL KNOW AN F-22 IS IN THE AREA IS WHEN ITS RWR WARNS OF INCOMING AMRAAMS.

Dumb bitch, why did you only mentioned the cons of this plane? There are also good sides of it. Like supercruise of 1.5-1.7mach. Being almost invisible to radar, can attack and destroy multiple targets. According to wikipedia unit cost of 2009 was 140mil. So it can destroy up to 4 targets at a time (if i remember correctly) thats 4 rafale-s =360mil. So it will deliver heck of a more punch to enemies budget than US-es.

su-35bm have much better rate of turn than f-15 or f-22. also much better rate of climb.
in BVR su-35bm have much better missiles (R-77M) who have bigger range,speed and maneuverability than aim-120D.
And have more powerful radar (IRBIS-E) truck up to 400km for big target.radar in the tail,servant to detect incoming missiles, and used one missile to shot down incoming missiles or planes. and also su-35bm is multi role plane .... I just try to be objective.

Turn rate is a function of airspeed. A Hughes 500D has a better turn rate than any jet at post-stall speeds. What does that prove?
At RELEVANT combat speeds, a loaded F-22 has better turn and pitch rates than ANY similarly-loaded Flanker.

The one fact you Ruskie fanboys always seem to overlook: combat-loaded Flankers have an RCS the size of a barn, while the F-22's RCS is marble sized.
With BVR engagements, it ALWAYS comes down to who detects whom first, and who's the first to get an accurate firing solution.

So stealth characteristics is an advantage, but not like you think.
