Thats a nice lure, but i think if there is one like that, that is a shiner it would attract a bass alot more quicker than a bream/bluegill, but that is still one nice lure, and will save time, if you cant catch any bream/bluegill.
it has great action but u couldnt get all tht action in a lake because of the rod tip not being able to to guide it around like in the tub. Great job, though 5*
Good observation. I'm pretty sure a simple straight retreive with an occasional stop and go would do the trick. Look closely as the fins spread out when the bait stops; that what you're really looking for here.

Put this above a drift sinker and slow crawl in along the edges of slow to moderate moving water.
Needs to be only 1 1/2 inches long... that would be a killer...
