  • hahaha. They're cute

  • I have a ringneck also. If you ever find one out in the wild like this it is best to bring it in or find someone to bring it in if you don't know what your doing because they do not do well in the wild and will die. It was most likely someones pet. Mine was so tame when she was found she came at my call! I took her in and nersed her back to health. I've had birds since I was 4. Get help if you don't know what you are doing.

  • The darker one is called a Mourning Dove. They're very common where I live.

  • Well, doves also breed with pigeons and produce some crazy children. Some smaller than doves and some larger with different markings and whatnot. I used to raise both and they ended up having babies...lol

  • The tan one is a tangerine ringneck dove (I have one)

and the dark one isnt a baby neither one of them are

  • my dove died yesterday, it kinda looked like the one on the right.

  • I *think* the darker one may be a "Mourning Dove."

The light colored one is definitely a Tangerine Ringneck Dove, though.

  • So peacefully to watch the different species eating together :)

  • I second that!! =) Its great to see them together!

  • Ttey are two species - ringneck dove (peach colour) and mourning dove. The ringneck one had flown away, no douts, the mourning dove is common and numerous americen bird. Best regards from Moscow.

  • I used to have thos neck ring doves, I knew them as abanera. They are from Africa. Sometines they are white too or combined original color and white. They ocasionally in cautiverio can be hybrid

  • omg i wonder if thats chloe that flew out the door! the ring necked dove! that looks exactly chloe!

  • the dark one looks like a quail.

  • I'm going to have to agree with my two year old daughter: "Pretty birdies!" They're lovely :-)

  • thats a cuute video!!! we have collard doves!! used to have 13 of them!! XP

  • Most "ringneck" doves in Florida are actually Eurasian Collared doves, which are a larger species, but quite closely related. In flight,

the colors of the underside of the tail is different, too. Collared doves are respectably larger than ringnecks.

  • As I type I am waiting for my tangerine dove eggs to hatch. This is absolutely a domestic ringneck. I believe a tangerine. From the qaulity of the video, color on the head and neck are allmost that of a violet neck. Allthough doves are ground feeders , it

  • The lighter one is an African Collared dove (AKA, Ring neck Dove)! Like Larkpash said, it is a domesticated bird. I actually have one of these as a pet. :0

Must of escaped out somone's window or something.

lol, it's so weird seeing them side by side.

  • The ring-necked doves here (Florida) are darker in color, but so pretty.

    Nice video!

  • OMG. That is a ringneck dove (the light one)That's a domestic bird...the other is a cousin, the mourning dove.

  • No, that's a wild mourning dove, and a domestic ringneck dove. I have one that looks like that

  • Great close up. Doves are one of my favorite birds...
