Thanks alot! Parents were going to scrap the old win 98,,, fair enough I guess, but after curiously taking it apart a while ago,, apon rebuild it wouldn't power on at all. I didn't note down where the pins connected which I think is my problem,,, Unfortunately, no manual in sight!
But, thanks to your video it's given me a clearer idea, and some motivation to give it another shot tomorrow and hopefully have a nice wee (working) project PC to play around with. Cheers :D

(The Problem: Not many tech guys help those of us with socket A PC troubles, not many replacemnt parts available either and there are some pressures for such people to stick with their 2002 PCs... so self-help is the only option left.

I've only seen 1 video from this guy so far but his vid is the best, most informative, concise video on pc building I've seen.
The tips are great.
Other videos I really like so far are the 'PC it Yourself' series.
