This is crap the EU has no money of it's own the only money it has is the peoples money, the EU is like the old Eastern Block Countries IT DOES NOT WORK WE NEED TO GET OUT OF THE EU AND BE AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY, globalision is a con run by the New World Order we should smash it, and get our freedon back.

I would be interested to see a break down of the destinations of the ex-employees, and how sustainable they are. For instance, of the 2200 - 650 = 1550, how many took temporary jobs relating to the transfer, short term contracts or some kind of education or training? Longer term, will they find jobs?

By globalization, I guess they mean paying less to people in countries with weaker employment and environmental legislation. I'm not sure what the upside to that is, except to shareholders.

Yes, instead of just laying people off and leaving them to survive on their own, you can transfere them to another career instead. That's something they don't do in so many countries like america and australia
