  • I wanna big dog like that...what type of dog is that?

  • @urilcamm it's a great pyrenese :o)

  • Huge dog looks alike you!....hahaha

  • Thats Chuck Norris's chiwawa.

  • pretty big dog, but alot of his size has to come from that coat

  • Is that Pyr fat or is the coat really that long?

I don't know Pyrs very well, but I know some people think my super skinny Samoyed is on the heavy side.

  • I just love Pyrs , i have two. Great family dog !

  • If you blink for too long, at last 1 human will gone without a trace #LOL

  • I have a great Pyrenees and she is 9 years old

  • That's so cute :)

  • largest dog in never mind xDDD im joking im joking xD

  • Nice ass in the pink striped pants

  • no.....just no -_-@penilesecretions

  • @penilesecretions EWW might what to keep that to ur self

  • all this situation needs is a saddle

  • wow, that dog has an epic poker face.

random kid pulls fur = who f*ckin cares

  • poor pyrenees needs a brush and a big thing of water. He is nice-looking though.

  • poor pyrenees needs a brush and a big thing of water.

  • give the dog some water! You see that huge coat and its hot out

  • @sosaj64 "give the dog some water! You see that huge coat and its hot out"

Dogs with white long coats actually handle the heat quite well. I have a Samoyed, if you shave their coat you risk giving them a severe sunburn because they're totally pink on their skin, and the coat actually helps keep them cool by both reflecting the sun, and allowing them to remove excess heat from panting.

Clipping the coat is like removing insulation from a house to keep it cooler in summer.

  • @fuzzywzhe mayb so, but his tongue hangin out and breathing heavy tells me he's thirsty

  • aawwwww so cute!

  • idk about everyone else... but i just couldn't let my kid(if i had one) around a dog that big... because even if the dog play nips at the kid... they are eye level...

  • @RoGQuizzno Having grown up with Pyrs, I can assure you, they aren't nipping types. As a rule, they are gentle, beautiful giants. My son would climb all over our Lucy when he was a baby.. Typically when a pyr has had enough of being a jungle gym, they will simply sit down, allow the kid to slide off, and walk away.

But never far. They need to watch ;)

Ours likes to pretend to sleep so she can observe the entire room "unnoticed" lol

  • liar i seen bigger

  • @pink1234139 Do you live where she lives by any chance??? The Great Pyrenees do get pretty big and the video is stated that, Largest Dog in NM, not world or any other place so yeah :P

  • The Kid's thinking, A real life Teddy Bear !!

  • Poor dog looks hot and in need of a good bath and grooming.

  • @hibiscusfreak

ridiculous! have you ever even been to new mexico? the only way that dog would NOT look hot was if it walked around with portable air conditioning. That is hardly a 'poor dog'.

  • @himynameiskaylee Panting in a dog=overheating, overexertion or pain. Great Pyrenees were bred to work in the mountains...cold and covered in snow. Not hot New Mexico! Your comment makes no sense anyway. It only tells me that you agree the dog IS hot. It at least needs a good grooming, it's full of mats.

  • what part in new mexico

  • Adorable!

  • his or her is soooooo cute

  • Pyrennes are the best!

  • I think that Pyrenees is too hot to have any interest.. Must be hot with that heavy coat and the possible NM heat. Gotta love that dog though.. 5*

  • That woman is such a good mom, she was right there between the dog and kid making sure everything was okay.

  • ...beauty and the fluff... :)

  • snotty cute dog ^^

  • cool

  • You don't have to be e genius to see that this dog is well socialized around children. There's no danger here, lots of grown up supervision and all that. If you run away with your kid trying to protect him from all experiences in life you'll just mess him up anyways. Let the kid have some fun, stop being a paranoid moron.

    That dog was totally mellow.

  • is a caucassian asian ovcharka??

  • No, it's a Great Pyrenees, but I LOVE Caucasian Mountain dogs!!!

  • i had the same dogg when i was back in my home country,, but way way bigger

  • it looks like a freakin lion bro.

    pretty nice though!!

  • that's a big dog alright but its ugly....... sorry im just being ownest

  • Animals DO have minds and they DO think. They CAN reason. Anyone who's been close to a pet knows this. Animal experts (Jane Goodall, for one) know they're not just stupid creatures. There are also some dog breeds which have been bred specifically to think on their own so the human shepherd or handler doesn't have to be there every moment. Among these breeds are the Pyrenees, the Caucasian Mountain Dog, Border Collie, and Kuvaz.

  • Exactly, people get this idea that just because an animal lacks intelligence it lacks emotion. I know that when I moved out of my house my dog stopped eating and would just wait at the door. I eventually moved back and now me and the dog are better friends than ever.

  • Animals can reason? Really? Unfortunately dogs work only on reflexes and mechanical memory. Although, I do agree that there is absolutely no danger in this situation. My 85 pound dog is absolutely submissive around people, especially children.

  • Dogs DO NOT only work on reflexes & mechanical memory; ask the people who use their dogs for work puposes, such as owners of Caucasian mountain dogs, or Border Collies. These dogs are not programmed robots. Most people who are really close to their pets (most any kind of pet) will tell you the same thing. Sounds like you have a great dog. What kind is it?

  • grnt25 is correct. As much as I love animals and the dog that I own, they are only automatons.

  • My family's retrievers have all been anything but automatons. One of our Labs was camp mascot when my mother was the nurse and that dog was very good at convincing the boys that teased her to play nice

  • O_O lemme guess ur a low lie idiot..

  • you dont like dogs, we get it. but its your opinion dogs dont have a mind. I for one love dogs like nothing in this world, for their honesty, and for being such great pals.

  • yeah totally honest, a dog has never lied to me...

  • This is not irresponsible of the owners in regard to the little girl. They said he's very friendly. Given the breed's gentle and protective nature toward infants and toddlers, plus, this particular dog's mellow disposition... nothing to worry about.

  • There IS a difference in behavior between a Newfie and a Pyr - HUGE difference! Pyrs are more agressive and territorial guardians (especially my first male) than Newfies. Early training and socialization is MANDATORY! The Pyr in this video is a small one. Both of mine were over 28 inches at the shoulder.

  • Lol my sister has a Great Pyrenees. They're so fluffy!

  • oh dear that is a bit inresponsible.... dog will always be a dog,,,and U never know how it gonna respond to a chid.

  • haha your kid cracks me up

  • haha at 1:39 she is so Intrigued be his slobber

  • its not even that big...

  • Looks like a Kuvasz or a Great Pyrenees

  • is that Golden Retriever ?

  • Yeah; you can tell by its gold-colored fur.

    - _ -

  • I've owned and loved 7 dogs in my life, and my Pyr remains my favorite. Gentle giant indeed, calm, dignified and majestic.

  • so tell me...is this in fact a great Pyrennees?

  • Yes, it is a Pyr. Not a Golden Retriever.

  • k buen video

  • aaaaaaaa ya se de donde sacan la lana

  • I am sitting here watching this, and at my feet lay Madeleine..my own Pyr. Pyrs are called gentle giants...I have hd three, and will more than likely have many many more...all rescues, of course. If I had to think of a negative for owning a Pyr, it would be the hair (here, there, hair everywhere!) I stopped buying dark clothes some years ago:) All of my Pyrs (Belle, Andy and Maddie) sleep with me, and love love me, the other dogs, and all of my cats (currently 5 cats now). i adore my furgal

  • hi, have you ever had Newfoundlands? i dont think there is any diference in what concerns their behavior, what do you think?

  • is that a great pyrenees? wow that's a calm/friendly "or well trained" dog :o

  • i would love to see the baby riding the dog

  • this wouldve been better if the woman was like, "shes real friendly" and the dog just pounces the kid

  • thas geat pyness(cant spell but I know what it is);)

  • poor dog

  • lol...

  • a kangal is bigger then this as a matter of fact I german shepards that are bigger

  • aww that so cute , i wouldlike to hug that big fat dog so cute!

  • average St. bernard about size of that

  • Aww what a cute combination -- a big adorable dog and a small adorable child.

  • Excellent temperament. That dog is perfectly balanced, as Cesar Milan would say

  • wtf¡ sick

  • lol "she must think he has a big bottle." lol

  • that baby probably pooped her self

  • thats soo cute the dog and baby adorable .what a gentle giant

  • CUTE....

  • OMG A GREAT PYRENEES!! They're gentle giants people. They wouldn't a fly, as long it doesn't come close to its sheep.

  • uhh what>?

  • A Great Pyrenees, or Pyrenean Mountain Dog, are used in France to protect the sheep. And because they look like one they are usually mixed with the sheep to help protect them from danger. I've got one and his name is Fonzy! He's soooo friendly, and even though he's 110 lbs he gets along with my 4.8 lb Chihuahua. People call him a bear... He's my special teddy! Hope this answered your question!

  • they will protect sheep assuming your using it for that purpose

  • try to conviece her when she is 5 that monsters do not exist after what she saw..

  • adorable vid but the cameraman breathing into the mic is creepy lol

  • I have a Great Pyrenees. He's great with kids. He's very gentle.

  • Beautiful Great Pyrenees. I myself own one and they are very large dogs weighing 100-150 depending on male or female. Great with Children and non threatening animals.

  • But the question is "why?" why would it "hurt" her?

  • Damn! I was scared for the kid! That dog could have seriously hurt her.

  • the mom and the owner of the dog are both watching the dog very carefully so the chances of her getting hurt is very small

  • The dog looks like a french pyrenees mountain dog. a very big but also gentle, loyal and brave breed. Was originaly ment to protect sheeps and goats from bears.
