  • Just posted my 1989 on ebay. check it out!

  • I have a light blue one I bought new in 89. The Factor is a great bass. Developes a huge range of sounds. Unsurpassed quality! Is very light weigth for a full size bass.

  • i had one of these some years back but had to sell her as i lost my job and crinbo was close ....worst decision i ever made ...

never mind i have a fairly decent bass now...

    thanks for sharing.

  • Song: KICK OFF by VAIL JOHNSON

  • what's the song playing?

  • the best years 1990 factor bass 4 swicht 9v pre amp

  • eu não acho o de 18 v muito mais potente..acredito q vc deve ter um de 9v huahuahua

  • the pic with the girl with a finger up her but is a bit skanky and distasteful.Vrai?

  • how much would one of these cost?

  • you can order them from the kubicki website. they run about $3300. i got a '90 fender customs shop kubicki (not quite as good but still kills most basses you'll find in a shop) for $985. just keep your eyes open and you could probably get a good deal

  • Yeah mirzamarco!!!That's true...also i dreamed about Philip kubicki thousand of times!!!But now I have a red Ex Factor Philip Kubicki!!!WONDERFUL bass;

  • I remember trying a couple of them here in Paris, back in '96-97, a 4-string and a 5, awesome. Never saw one since then. They were obscenely expensive and I so didn't have the money. Costed around 1400 $, I kept going to the shop playing them, knowing well I could never buy one. I remember dreaming about Factor bass at night, can you believe that?

One day, a French funk singer, Sinclair, bought one right in front of me. I thought: money might not be important, as they say, but it fucking helps!

  • i thought only Stu hamm used Factor Bass ¬¬

  • mine is black..it's an '89 mdl

  • i bought a second hand black ex factor from 1994 and it sounds just as the new ones believe me this is a bass for life, it was almost impossible to get one here in Mexico but i guess i got lucky

  • Where can you buy a kubicki bass in the uk? please tell me

  • I have one in the UK

  • I always wanted one. It's got a trippy neck philosophy with all the laminations!

  • I have a blue burst Ex-factor, bought it 11 years ago... would kill for a matching fretless one..

  • Mine is dark green/blue. The rotors on the bottom are novel but they drive me completely insane.

  • Yeahhh!!!

    I love it!

  • factor basses are awesome
