I have a light blue one I bought new in 89. The Factor is a great bass. Developes a huge range of sounds. Unsurpassed quality! Is very light weigth for a full size bass.
you can order them from the kubicki website. they run about $3300. i got a '90 fender customs shop kubicki (not quite as good but still kills most basses you'll find in a shop) for $985. just keep your eyes open and you could probably get a good deal
Yeah mirzamarco!!!That's true...also i dreamed about Philip kubicki thousand of times!!!But now I have a red Ex Factor Philip Kubicki!!!WONDERFUL bass;
I remember trying a couple of them here in Paris, back in '96-97, a 4-string and a 5, awesome. Never saw one since then. They were obscenely expensive and I so didn't have the money. Costed around 1400 $, I kept going to the shop playing them, knowing well I could never buy one. I remember dreaming about Factor bass at night, can you believe that?
One day, a French funk singer, Sinclair, bought one right in front of me. I thought: money might not be important, as they say, but it fucking helps!
i bought a second hand black ex factor from 1994 and it sounds just as the new ones believe me this is a bass for life, it was almost impossible to get one here in Mexico but i guess i got lucky

I always wanted one. It's got a trippy neck philosophy with all the laminations!

Mine is dark green/blue. The rotors on the bottom are novel but they drive me completely insane.
