my car runs rough at 1200 rpm rpm 1500 rpm then smooths out

still doesnt run perfect and kinda get a skip felling going down the road its barley noticeable

skip feeling? check to see if your knocking, otherwise sounds like a misfire, check your inital timing, total timeing and advance if that checks out (if you have a knock sensor gauge/monitor use it wile checking your timing to make sure your not knocking), than check your plugs gap and condition. If all those check out do a compression test.

@Lokivoid changed the cap , rotor , wires , and adjusted the mixture and idle ,

i think the mixture was off

Mixture screws and idle screw shouldnt have a impact out of idle unless something is damaged carb wise. If your refering to fuel air mixture readings, wile off idle that would be the jets and nozzel. But this is just under the asumption your not in idle or leaveing idle when the symptoms start. I also failed to ask if you have checked the float levels.
