Unfortunately no singer but Perry could return this band back to it's chart statis again in the US. The one plus for the band is the HUGE asian market they can hit with this new singer! The new singers have all been rock singers & that is why they don't sound anything like Perry. None of them have the R&B roots in em'. It's hard to replace a legend unless you bring in another legend. (SammyHagar&VH) Maybe Journey should try the same down the road. I like Arnel, but it's still not the same 4 me.

Alot of people on here are hating on my comments. I was just saying, that to try and replace the Voice is virtually impossible. AP is a great singer don't get me wrong, but it appears Neal and jonathan are trying to play the real life RockStar movie. Just as in the movie, continuing to replace some one as special to us old fans like a SP is impossible, but the other memebrs of the band just dont see it like we do. Rock on, I will probably be at the show just to see the changes.

The Voice wasn't replaced. IT WAS RUN OVER by a voice that has MORE KICKED!! and that's the truth..but don't fret SP was a complete ARTIST/MUSICIAN who wrote great songs with Journey...but as far as the voice is concern sorry dude..AP countertenor is much more powerful than SP..
