For a good restaurant you can expect a bill of aroundl 40/50 euros, a drink from 5 to 8 euros, a 1 bedroom flat in a good area at about 1000 euros at least. you can also share an apartment, that' s a solution for many students. Florence is a smaller city, more relaxing and cahotic, cost of living is similar (maybe slightly cheaper) but in milan you really have many more work/study opportunities. good luck
