@xXDucky94 Her real death could be attributed to Cromwell. He accused her of being incestuous, so you can't blame Henry. Just blame him for every other person.
Henry's trouble is he always wants what he can't have. He was exactly this way with Anne, until Anne gave herself to him and then he suddenly lost interest and moved onto the next woman that took his fancy. Henry will never learn, and can't be faithful to any women.
Yeah I agree. Henry shouldn't of blamed Anne.i mean he's the one who forced Jane to kiss him and then he has to go and squeeze Anne stomach when she is pregnant and plus hrs the reason why she's pregnant I mean it's not a bad thing I'm just saying Henry shouldn't blame Anne.I think Anne would make the best queen of England!):
I hate how everyone blames Anne for Katherine of Aragon's fall (which isn't even true. Henry was done with her before Anne even came into the scene) but nobody blames Jane for Anne's.
@summergirlx17 This is the wrong way round, the way It seems is nobody blames Anne for Katherine's downfall, and seems to overlook what Anne did to Katherine and Mary.. yet Jane gets cut no slack for Anne's.
Still Anne is my favorite because she is a model example of indepence. I don't like how people today still think bad of her for acting strongly and not conforming to be inferior to a man. I really admire her and also she is my favorite because she had the most chemistry and best sex scenes with henry. Henry shouldn't have blamed Anne for everything. Yes she encouraged him and guided to do bad things but in the end he is the one who did them. Everyone has a choice. Henry couldnt take responsibili
Also he claims Jane was his true love and best wife. Yet i believe he only said that because she seemed like such a virtuous person who was pretty good looking and did everything he said. Also she gave him his son ( who by the way only lasted a few years whereas Elizabeth is the best ruler of England). Jane was a model example of how girls in those times were thought less of and had to be men's mindless robots. Of course i can't blame her. She did what she had to survive
I have always been so mad about the way anne and henry ended up. I know everyone says that anne deserved what she got because of how she fooled around with henry when he was married to Katherine ( who in my opinion was absolutely wonderful and a gracious wife). However, I always felt anne and Henry were soulmates. They were a disfunctional couple but a really exciting and interesting one. Throughout the show I never saw Henry so passionate to one of his wives as he was with Anne.
I can never decide about Jane. Most of the things I've read have portrayed her as a devout, sweet, and innocent woman. But by the same token, she was openly pursued by a married man. I don't know if it was due to her religious views, perhaps she didn't view Henry and Anne married, or perhaps she was playing the game, as well. I'll probably never know, but it would be cool to find out one day!
@MsJulie0481: Women of that age were brought up (brainwashed or beaten up) to be obedient without question to the men of her family--even if they were pimping her out to the King. Plus, the King had absolute power. If Jane refused him, he could do all sorts of things to trap and persuade her. Being the King's mistress or wife also gave women basic freedoms and privileges they would otherwise not have if they weren't. Jane had to be a combination of mouse and catty husband-snatcher to survive.
Interesting how Henry is so tender with Jane, despite the kiss, he cares about her self respect and her honor. He only saw her under chaperonage and then pretty much cared about her safety in a way he didn't with Anne.
@toonbrown1 Its not their fault u can't refuse the king i mean Anne didnt she only stalled him. Besides Jane was never a mistress she was way to shy. Henry was with Anne for over 9 years so i guess he got bored which is kind of disgusting.
Thanks. I always wonder why so many get upset with Jane Seymour and hate her when Anne Boleyn did exactly the same thing yet it's called a great love affair.
She did nothing that AB didn't do. What is built on someone else's pain never lasts.
King Henry was a fickle you know what and he showed his fickleness to Anne just as he did to Queen Katherine. Jane borrowed from AB's playbook,is all and seeing it happen to Anne shows that it didn't look quite so romantic, now does it?
this was my fav part lol!! She went BAD! Even though i hate what they did to catherine they were my fav. in this show. She was the only one ho had some real power over him
The very definition of what he did WITH you,he'll DO to you. Anne had not a care for Queen Katherine's pain and was quite content to be courted by a married man. Now she's getting a taste of what Queen Katherine endured on her behalf. What goes round comes right back. King Henry was quite the fickle lover and all of this can be laid at his feet.
You can't compare todays social values with the 16th century. You would not of done all the things you say you would because you wouldn't be living in the 21st century where women in most countries have rights. it's so interesting how jane did the exact same thing that anne did to katherine, yet somehow history has labeled jane as a goddess and anne as a malicious whore
@tanan18 Because Jane gave Henry the son he wanted. Technically though I think Jane really didn't know what to do because she was, in my opinion, not quite as inteeligent as Anne. Anne saw Henry alone while courting,0 but Jane insisted on her family members being present, and I think Henry respected that.
@tanan18 actually, Jane didn't do the exact same thing to Anne as Anne did to Catherine. Anne gave Henry a choice, to marry her and leave Catherine or not have her at all. With Jane, he knew that he couldn't have her unless he somehow divorced Anne (without making himself look like the pompous asshole he was), but she never told him he must behead Anne, that was Henry's choice not to spare her.
Alright. So it's okay when she cheats with Henry on Katherine of Aragorn, but this is not? Please do explain. The one true queen will always be Katherine of Aragorn. She is a rolemodel and beautiful, strong and wise.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING! PROOF OF NATALIE'S EXQUISTE ACTING! POOR QUEEN ANNE.... SHE LOVED HENRY! HEARTBREAKING & AWLFUL! I'VE BEEN PREGNANT & WHEN I WATCH THIS, IT MAKES IT VERY EASY TO SEE HOW THIS STRESS MADE HER LOSE THE ONE THING THAT WAS HER'S & HIS BIGGEST DESIRE! SO VERY SAD! W/HER DEATH DATE APPROACHING..... GOD BLESS QUEEN ANNE!
-shudders- Natalie Dormer is SCARY when she's angry (even though she was acting), when she slammed the door I jumped and I could really tell that she was about to rip the hinges from the frame Loll.
Actually he didn't tell Jane To "Run". His exact words were "Jane, I think you should leave", and I think he only said that because Anne was pregnant at the time and he wanted a son above all else. As for Anne she was a silly little bitch who thought her beauty and a baby boy would make Henry ALL hers. Sorry but did she really think that she was so special that he wouldn't cheat on her as he did with all his women. I'm shocked her enormous ego didn't break the guillotine's blade at her execution
@RogerTheDodgerX Seriously? I'm a bitch because I have an opinion about something that happens to differ from yours. Get a life and maybe then you'll have something better to do than to call people you know absolutely nothing about names on Youtube. You are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. It IS possible to have different view of something and not make yourself look ignorant at the same time. Personally I'd rather be called a bitch anyday than waste my time on people like you.
@icequeen6281 Anne Boleyn was beheaded by a swordsman, not the guillotine. The guillotine wasn't around until the French Revolution. You might want to step down off your high horse for a moment to check Wikipedia before you post. I'm guessing all of your knowledge of Anne Boleyn came from "The Other Boleyn Girl".
You guys do know that Jane wasn't such a saint either right? Anne did steal a married man, but Jane Seymour did the same thing. Jane's just made to look like a saint while Anne's the villian.
I think Anne was the best of his wives because Henry's passion coukd only be matched by Anne. And if you watch the dream sequence in the last episode he called for Anne to come back not Jane.
That's a romanticized scene to build up for the finale, it probably didn't happen to the real King Henry. Don't take what you see on the show too seriously.
I'm glad they re-cast Jane, even though I still don't know why they did. Annabelle Wallis is much more beautiful than this actress and was better equipped, in my opinion, to play out the role after she and Henry are Wed.
I like how Henry's hurt from the jousting accident, but he allows Lady Jane to sit upon his knee. He sure the hell gets up fast when Anne enters the room! LOL
Oh? I never knew this happened. So, guess it's kind of ridiculous that Anne was the one executed for treason when the King was the one that was caught with someone else...
Riiiiiiiiiight! She treated Elizabeth like shit though and thought her to be a bastard. Not any better than that bad bad bad Anne Boleyn! I think Jane Seymour was more of a bitch than we think.
it's too bad that all the debate in the comments on this video is about whether anne was bad or jane was bad. i'm pretty sure the constant f**ked up factor in all of these situations is... HENRY. he's the one who never gets blamed for all the sh** that went down!
I Agree! :) All The Rivalry Between Anne and Jane Is A Little Unecessary. I Think That They Were Both Great, Admirable and Inspirational Women Who Sadly Had Bad Things Happen To Them :(.
@Boleyn291: Yeah, thumbs up! Everything was turned against women during Tudor times, queen or no, because of guys like Henry. And they STILL consider him a great king today, despite the fact that he started the long and bloody religious split that wreaked the whole country, just so he could f**k who he wanted, and despite the fact that it took a woman (Elizabeth I) -- his DAUGHTER, not a son -- to rule and lead England into its Golden Age, better than any man like him ever could.
I dislike Jane did not hesitate to jump at the opportunity to take Annes place, this actress looks like a hoe, the one in season 3 seems so much sweeter.
What I hate about Jane Seymour is, that she married on the blood of a beheaded woman....only 11 days after Anne's death. And Anne is considered the "bad girl" of his wives...ridiculous....I think Jane is much much worse!
anne is amazing henry is an idiot for actually liking jane and i just wish that he felt guilty for ann` s misscarriage but did anyone understand what anne said when she walked in it wasnt very clear
natalie is so talented, it's actually unbelievable. I don't know why she isn't a worldwide success. One of the best actresses i've ever seen! I've loved every episode with her. Season 2 was absolutely incredible :)
I loved Anne's character. But I hated her at the same time. I did feel bad for her being framed and falsely accused, but when you live dirty, that's how you die. You can't play dirty and expect others to play fair with you. So essentially, she did get what she deserved.
I wonder why Anne was always so surprised and hurt when Henry had a mistress or a lover when that's how she got him in the first place? Now she knows how Catherine of Aragon felt!
Also, she tried to get Catherine and Mary executed and in the end it was her that was executed. Not only that, it was found out in the Victorian period when they exhumed her body that she was buried in an old arrow box. While Catherine of Aragon rests in a place of respect and dignity and has a wonderful burial place. While Anne rests in an arrow box in the Tower of London.
anne had never been a mistress or a lover for king henry, because she was clever enough to know, that old lovers of the king are handeled as dirt. so she hold him back all the time until he was divorced!!!
"The Tudors" is a bit fictional. you shouldn't believe everything from this series!
Sorry for the late reply, not everyone believed(Catholics) that Henry's divorce with KOA was legitimate. Many proclaimed her the true Queen until her death.
okay, yeah she was pregnant, but the divorce was nearly legal and they married, when King Henry was divorced. So she became pregnant when it was clear, that the King is getting divorced from his wife. All the time before, she didn't except being his lover.
I do prefer Anita playing Jane . I found Annabelle's Jane to sweet and sickly and unrealistic, Jane was just as calculating as Anne and i think Anita acts that out very well, where as Annabelle portrays Jane to have been mother goose , which in reality she was far from.
@anneandkatherine22 You stupid bitch Jane was 10x better then Anne ever was. How could you say Jane desreved to die? Jane and KOA were his most innocent wives. Everything that happened to Anne was her fault.
I'm sorry at 1:17 I was totally distracted by her boob. That bitch is pushhhed the fuck up

Sorry but did she really think that she was so special that he wouldn't cheat on her as he did with all his women. I'm shocked her enormous ego didn't break the guillotine's blade at her execution

RogerTheDodgerX 10 months ago
@RogerTheDodgerX Seriously? I'm a bitch because I have an opinion about something that happens to differ from yours. Get a life and maybe then you'll have something better to do than to call people you know absolutely nothing about names on Youtube. You are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. It IS possible to have different view of something and not make yourself look ignorant at the same time. Personally I'd rather be called a bitch anyday than waste my time on people like you.
icequeen6281 10 months ago
@icequeen6281 Anne Boleyn was beheaded by a swordsman, not the guillotine. The guillotine wasn't around until the French Revolution. You might want to step down off your high horse for a moment to check Wikipedia before you post. I'm guessing all of your knowledge of Anne Boleyn came from "The Other Boleyn Girl".

You guys do know that Jane wasn't such a saint either right? Anne did steal a married man, but Jane Seymour did the same thing. Jane's just made to look like a saint while Anne's the villian.

And natalie Dormer is just an AMAZING actress...what a scene :O

I think Anne was the best of his wives because Henry's passion coukd only be matched by Anne. And if you watch the dream sequence in the last episode he called for Anne to come back not Jane.
Wiccanboy17 1 year ago
That's a romanticized scene to build up for the finale, it probably didn't happen to the real King Henry. Don't take what you see on the show too seriously.

I was expecting Anne to get a knife and kill that mistress bitch Jane Seymour, if only that happened in history...
No but seriously though i laughed when Henry told Jane Seymour to run. HAHA
skllpirates12457 1 year ago
I'm glad they re-cast Jane, even though I still don't know why they did. Annabelle Wallis is much more beautiful than this actress and was better equipped, in my opinion, to play out the role after she and Henry are Wed.

She's not a pimple on Anne's ASS. She's not nearly as brilliant, graceful- ...powerful women really can rule the world.

Poor Anne. AMAZING acting done by Natalie in this scene. And she and Jonathan are phenomenal together.

There is some doubt wether scene actually happened.
So dont take everything you see on the tudors too seriously. It is just a show after all.

What I hate about Jane Seymour is, that she married on the blood of a beheaded woman....only 11 days after Anne's death. And Anne is considered the "bad girl" of his wives...ridiculous....I think Jane is much much worse!

Now she knows how Catherine of Aragon felt!
princessewhiterose 1 year ago 9
@princessewhiterose
While Anne rests in an arrow box in the Tower of London.
princessewhiterose 1 year ago 5
@princessewhiterose
anne had never been a mistress or a lover for king henry, because she was clever enough to know, that old lovers of the king are handeled as dirt. so she hold him back all the time until he was divorced!!!
"The Tudors" is a bit fictional. you shouldn't believe everything from this series!
awsome182 1 year ago
@awsome182
Sorry for the late reply, not everyone believed(Catholics) that Henry's divorce with KOA was legitimate. Many proclaimed her the true Queen until her death.
princessewhiterose 1 year ago
@awsome182 not completely true, she was pregnant before they divorced. in fact i think he married her secretly before the divorce was final
mebee415 1 year ago
@mebee415
okay, yeah she was pregnant, but the divorce was nearly legal and they married, when King Henry was divorced. So she became pregnant when it was clear, that the King is getting divorced from his wife. All the time before, she didn't except being his lover.
awsome182 1 year ago
you almost feel bad for Anne in this scene. Great acting by Natalie Dormer.
moviegal6000 1 year ago 2
I do prefer Anita playing Jane . I found Annabelle's Jane to sweet and sickly and unrealistic, Jane was just as calculating as Anne and i think Anita acts that out very well, where as Annabelle portrays Jane to have been mother goose , which in reality she was far from.
