The best the best haka's come from Aotearoa... School haka's are the one's to look at... cause its the hole school doing the haka not just 25 grown men lol... but the sound of a hole school doing the haka is more intense then watch the all blacks haka... no offence to the brothers but even they'll tell you... every player in the all blacks alwayz goes back to there roots, back to the schools they went to, to share there experience and at the end there schools do a haka for them...

I am sickened by the treatment towards Australians also in the RWC. Not everyone in NZ is that supid though. I do wish the leaders had spoken out though.

@SugarTomAppleRoger I knew we wudn be popular over there in the wc, but in the past the kiwis have kept it to friendly rivarly, and there was genuine respect between the fans mostly, however I and many others here was taken back by the level of hatred this time, spitting at aussies, and mocking them at games when they lost as in the ireland match, as seen on utube videos, it was quite sad to see, we would never spit on you or mock you when you are loosing, I dont consider you a friend anymore.

However, you can be assured that it was exaggerated by the media. My daughter was born in Australia, and she of course supported the Aussies. My other three children live in Australian and two daughters are married to Australians, and the children Australian. I hope you know that everyone is different. Some compare it to Scotland against England, but it is quite different - Scotland has real and legitimate grievances against England, whereas Australia has never done anything wrong against New Zealand - other than beating them at most sports. :) I honestly think there is a bit of jealousy creeping in also. To be honest, the two countries should help each other.

@Zephyesa Hi Zephyesa. I am a NZer as well, as was ashamed at how the country treated Australian visitors and especially Quade Cooper who is a NZ Maori himself. You have to understand that there is an element of psychological play in order for the team to win a world cup. All countries seem to do that now. I personally hate it. I like Australians and ones I have met have no animosity towards NZ. I think most people realize that it is all about winning, nothing else.

That is OK, although I don't personally do it. This latest stuff was not banter though. It was just plain nasty. Can you imagine how crazy the NZ media would go, if Australians did the same to NZers in say Sydney? Of course Australians wouldn't. They do have some class, which a lot of NZers don't.

I don't know. Anyway, Aussies and Kiwis are practically the same anyway, although they usually beat us in most sports. :(

@jamesjcandi i'm not disrespecting their culture! the original haka was nothing like this. it was a celebratory dance after a tribal leader escaped from a rival tribe. now they've turned into throat slitting which is competely unnecessary.they're too quick jump on about it because you're 'offending their culture'. last lions tour, BOD went to see a moari leader for a response to the haka that was respectable, he threw a piece of grass which is meant to show peace and Tana spear tackled him!

Parts of the Kapo o Pango are over 200 years old (some parts are new) but it has always included the throat cut. Another person on the internet that 'knows stuff". The return piece of grass is accepting the challenge of the Haka. He accepted it and got his ass handed to him.
