  • Yes, Im keen to know how you connected the computer fan too. I'm no electrician so please type slowly! Plus, for air circulation purposes would it be an idea to have one fani bringing air in and one driving it out? Just a thought.

  • was wondering how you hook up that computer fan? thanks

  • @Carmine2881 get an old cell phone changer and splice the wires to the computer fan :) what i did and they work great

  • how did yo connect the flexwatt to the inside of the fridge, screws?

  • little cost u have 2 buy a fridge or freezer

  • no it was free people will give them away if they dont work

  • Hi, your gonna need to exchange the air in the fridge several times a day in order to bring in oxygen. For those that are unaware, as the embryos develope and you candle each egg you will see a web of veins spreading throughout the internal surface of the shell. These do the same job as a placenta in a womans womb but instead of using the mothers blood stream to exchange co2 for oxygen, the veins in the egg exchange the gases through the egg shell.

Which is why o2 should be refreshed.

  • good point

  • yes your right we open our inc every 2 days and open each egg box the same time for a minute

  • Aren't fridges air tight?

  • yup

  • you will be able to have SOOOOO many eggs in there... That is awesome.. When our project gets large enough to where we need to incubate that many eggs. I think this is the way to go. Man what an Idea.. Thanks for sharing.

  • wow!!! thats awesome!

do you think that if a got a wooden viverium and put a heat lamp in the viv and hooked it all up 2 thermostat i culd incubate eggs in there??

    thanx :D liam

  • Do you know how I could make a non grounded Helix grounded. I have metal snake racks and I bought a couple helix off a guy and they are non grounded. I need them grounded because the rack is metal. I was thinking I could run a wire from the rack to the outlet and then use a 2 to 3 prong adapter then plug the Helix into a strip. I don't know thought. If you have any insight I'd appreciate it bro.
