  • It took eight years for her last known message to reach him as well as a few more years for her previous messages. So after lets say ten years her service in the fleet isnt up or did she choose to stay in service all this to Mikako was a month or two maybe more so either Ritisia did not make it back or she died or service in the fleet is longer than usual service in militia.Noboru may find that shes dead or she may be employed in militia services until time for her to fetch a ride home.

  • booooriiiiing

  • how is she recharging the phone?

  • damn... I love that rain scene

  • 超遠距離恋愛

  • strange, something that just came up (to me) is "How the !@#$ did they get and FTL drive for those ships?"

  • @kanjimasteryugi those arent FTL capable engines they allow travel at close to the speed of light but not faster otherwise relativity wouldnt be that huge of a factor

  • ってゆーか、みかこちゃん国連の話蹴れよ

  • The microwaves would likely be destroyed before they reached earth

  • Because when you travel lightspeed the time runs differently, causing a year in space to become 8-10 in earth. That's why travelling to the future is "possible" acording to Einstein.

  • Or maybe simply because radio waves travel at light speed...

  • don't you mean a year at lightspeed?

  • This really gives new meaning to the term, "star-crossed lovers."

  • thx 4 the upload!!

  • they aren't a couple for god's sake

  • why not..?

  • WHOA newspapers have video anyways damn that must suck it so short less that 30 min very small movie but touching

  • Howcome the girl dosnt age?

  • I am guessing cause time isnt the same everywhere in space.

  • Because what we're seeing is her at one set of points in time, and Noboru as her messages reach him: when he's 16, 17, 25, and so on. Our vantage point is that we follow her journey as is, and we only see noboru grow up. I think.

  • Yes, I think so, too.

  • time slows the closer you travel to the speed of light

  • Amazing, I'm completely taken away by this movie.
