@kanjimasteryugi those arent FTL capable engines they allow travel at close to the speed of light but not faster otherwise relativity wouldnt be that huge of a factor

Because what we're seeing is her at one set of points in time, and Noboru as her messages reach him: when he's 16, 17, 25, and so on. Our vantage point is that we follow her journey as is, and we only see noboru grow up. I think.
