  • Honey the oil came on again last month and I forgot to tell you, would you please look at it...

  • Why you destroying engines?? :(

Do you have something smart to do... ? How about, fix the whole engine, and drive or something... fucking stupid people!!

  • @milosc91 Someone here traded their car in during the cash for clunkers crap, this is what happened to those cars anyway. I saw many nice classic car destroyed, who cares about a stupid worn out caravan?

  • @milosc91 Wasn't my engine as the caption says and have a little more class Milsc91. Videos like this are meant for kids too!

  • Who said dodge made crappy engines??? :)

  • @DAIadvisor Dodge makes descent engines but these aren't them, it's crap Mitsubishi.

  • @docrw actually the 6g72's are awesome and reliable, maybe you should own one before stating a false statement lol.

  • 8 people were late for soccer practice.

  • whos the little chub cunt in the orange shit bahahah

  • que pendejadas

  • Amazing how stupid and complacent some people are. Toddlers running around next to what is essentially a bomb in the making. Thats some of the worst parenting I've ever seen. Idiots

  • Place your bets! The winner get this car!

  • do that with these new cars once. for that long ^_^

  • has any one heard of safety...What happens if the fly wheel shatters or shrapnel goes flying...A foot cut off by a fly wheel happens all too often..Thats why in speedway we have to have a scater shield..

  • with this driver!!!!

  • @PANJOSS

ummmm.... as the description said, this film was shot at a car show in International Falls, MINNESOTA "Shot at the Early Iron car show at the International Falls Bass tournament Aug. 28, 2010 in International Falls, Minnesota" and although I boat in Canada, I'm a US citizen, so not sure who you're picking a fight with?

  • @PANJOSS Hey, youtube "cash for clunkers" It's a thing Obama started...

  • @PANJOSS you dont have to be canadian to talk like that douche

  • iv' been to a few of these contests down in san diego and whenever a honda was used no one would ever be even close when guessing the time it would take. most would guess 90 seconds but a few of them lasted as much as 4 minutes..... thoes jap cars can really take a beating, :)

  • awsome u get 2 doller for 1st place wat a waste of time !!!

  • @33 do i hear pop corn lol

  • wow give these shit car to ppl that cant even buy a car u fucking dumbshits

  • @nowayjose696969

That car is probably to some point not driveable or worth driving again.i would bet the trans is shot brakes are shot wheel bearings are all loose all the fluids were 10 years old. that car needs to be off the road instead of in the hands of some family that can barley afford to put gas in their tank. not the best idea since we all know how much cars cost to maintain

  • @bmxguy08

Yeh, that old Dodge Caravan was in really rough shape. Some people just don't understand that a vehicle needs to be in good condition before putting it on the road and risking not only your own life, but others as well. I know how much it costs to maintain old vehicles when starters, trannies, bearings, rear-ends, u-joints, power windows and locks, exhaust systems, etc.. start falling apart. Just replacing a intake gasket on many 90's mini-vans is $1000.00 at a garage.

  • @nowayjose696969

You can get rusted out death-traps like this 25 year old van for about $100 from the junkyards where this one came from. Sure, it would be great to give away old beaters to people with limited income, but they shouldn't be given a vehicle that isn't road-worthy and would cost $2k for a garage to fix into decent driving condition.

  • Surprised that piece of shit dodge lasted that long. Those vans were one of the biggest pieces of junk on the planet. I bet that thing had several new transmissions and engines in its lifetime.

Couldnt have picked a better vehicle to destroy tho.

  • @torque395 The tranny is only as good as the fluid you put in, fyi, I'd stick to 20% Lucas / 80% synthetic transmission fluid from after 5k miles.

  • should have given the car to an underpaid single mother

  • @TecTactical

Really? Did you get a good look at that van? It was a death-trap that came from the junkyard and wasn't road worthy. Who would pay the $hundreds (likely $2k or more) to fix rust in floor(exhaust gases into cab killing occupants with Co2), buy 4 new tires, put a new exhaust system and brakes on it, etc... This was all about using a junk-yard vehicle destined for scrap metal anyway to raise money for a community club with a 50/50 contest. Some of you are just WAY too serious!!

  • @canadianboater i think its a kool way to kill a car permently lol

  • just to wast a car is stupid

  • @thebrian266

As you can see, the car wasn't driven here. I was just passing by and shot the video, but was told the car was pulled from a junkyard for this event. It's not like it's a 5 year old corvette, it's a 25 year-old clunker from the junk yard worth about $100 and it was hilarious

  • @canadianboater no it was just a wast of gas in a engine that was good sorry dude engine could been worth around 500 to 1000 so was stupid

  • @thebrian266 what the fuck do think happens in a junkyard!

  • @drifta96 well dude not sure if you know what you are talking about around here the resale the good engines and part out the rest come down here and walk around the junk yards and see for your self ok

  • DO NOT underestimate the reliability of the 1st and 2nd generation dodge caravan, plymouth voyager

  • @counterclockwise123 Underestimation done, while some people got lucky these POS used a very very unreliable transmission for years through production.. Just all around maintenance nightmares after 100,000 miles.. I beg to differ

  • @JEEPIOIIIIIIIIOI My father drives for a living. Over the years his vehicle of choice has been pre-96 Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager. He buys used, often with many kilometres drives them into the ground, but they are reliable, fuel efficient, roomy, and more fun to drive than you expect. All in all there was little maintenance required.

He'd buy them cheap and if it lived for a year or more he got his moneys worth out of it. those vans were driven hard every day they did really well.

  • What you do is mount an engine in a frame on a cage. Fill it with oil but no water and rig up a fuel supply. Everyone places bets on how long it will take to self destruct, winner takes all. Lock the throttle full open, start it and press the button on the stop watch. Stand back and wait.

  • cant beat a dodge can u?

  • @Begbucks Anything beats a dodge. They probably had to repair that POS just to get it to run to do this with.

  • @torque395 You know I'd have to see that, I really would like to hear you cussing, yanking the steering whl cranking the dead Chevy or Ford horse following a few taps to the pcm (Crown Vics have an Achilles heal in the directional lights - snip that wire - you're out cold!) at the local demo derby (almost my backyard actually!) being reminded of that lame comment you made in the heart of Winter!

Everyone seems to gang up on a Chrysler, but time & time gain the Dodge brothers legacy pulls thru.

  • @Begbucks glad you have luck with them no dodge ive ever had or been around was worth anything. My father just traded a 98 stratus for a toyota rav 4 because it was in the shop costing $500 or more every time he turned around. It was a very nice car well taken care of too. Such a shame it got traded for a toyota of all things.

The last straw was the head gasket that it blew. before that it was 4 alternators, a fried computer due to a wire that shorted out right by the computer, etc etc etc

  • @torque395 Yes, Honda's Toyota's are also cool (besides self driving, taking after Christine) but from the big three, Mopar's have the best longevity off the other two. Hmm sounds like a Monday or Friday deal w/ Autozone parts, but it's true that the 3.3L & up tend to perform the best (except late model 4.7 V8s.)

I especially like the 318 & 360 trucks, I suppose older is also better.
