For me, there's not a more powerful moment in a Roland Emmerich film than the final shot during the Tornado sequence when the Janitor opens the door leading to the apocalyptic skyline of what's left of San Fransisco, as the twister rolls away into th air. For me, there's not a more powerful moment in a Roland Emmerich film than the final shot during the Tornado sequence when the Janitor opens the door leading to the apocalyptic skyline of what's left of San Fransisco, as the twister rolls away into th air. I honestly think that sequence is the strongest part of the film.

One example of why this film is rubbish. When the english lad is watching the football match in his bunker,hes shouting 'kick it kick it'. Now who on earth watches a football match like that.?? And the most annoying line in it when the 3 guys are toasting the human race, the same knobhead says, 'to Manchester United!' Being an Arsenal fan that put me off the film straight away. Along with a lot of crappy acting.
