Most chain driven ones are locked and gear drive ones on bigger vehicals unless it has full time 4wd or awd.

You got to love these cars!! I have a 96 with a 4in lift and 33s. It goes anywhere and everywhere. The only other mods i did were a flowmaster super 40 and a k & n cold air intake. I will never get rid of it!
