That was a park royal bodied AEC Regent 3, Built in the UK for London Transport, there arn't that many alive today, any loss of a source of parts is a true loss. These things don't grow on trees chaps!!!!!!
meh... Im british, Theres hundreds of the old things still over here in preservation, Ive worked on quite a few of them in recent years. Its not a huge loss. And it was probably pretty rough.
The German state systematically is openly using murder to suppress any opposition since at least 1919. Torture with directed energy weapons was already used in 1908, see my homepage, chapter Psychiatrie-->Zur Klinik der Narkolepsie. They also used large amounts of snitchers before ww1. There are several cases of possible murders before ww1, the most obvious being the famous Rudolf Diesel, see chapter murder on my homepage. You may have translated the texts by clicking the flags.
A little bit more information would be nice to know about this video than what was given. Was this bus of any significant importance to the area? Was it just sitting there? Where was it moved to? What was done with it?
@RhinoStompin you obviously dont understand how much things like this bus means to our generation...without that bus we would of never had the improved, efficient and fairly cheap busses we have today. so show some respect.
@KAZEE188 This is ONE BUS of thousands!!! Recycle that shit or something! Put it in a paintball field... I REALLY don't care... Do you not understand that this "Old Girl" is also the dagger of it's own future?
Where ever this is i dont think they've heard of health & safety, at 0:50 theres a guy that jumps in the pit to push the bus round, god help him if the crane should fail and the whole lot comes down on him.
I'm not a retro-grouch nostalgiaphile fuddy-duddy but that was a tough clip to watch. Seems like it could have been done without butchering the bus. In the name of "Progress" a lot of really neat parts of our history are destroyed. Steam locomotives, WW2 airplanes, old trucks and historically significant bicycles, skateboards and sailboats have been decimated without regard to the value our next generation will have.
Obviously ignorant people. Not only do they lift it incorrectly, but they stand below it to push it around by hand, just waiting for a strap to snap, or the structure to collapse, so that it can fall on them. Sad and shamefull from an historical perspective. Stupid from a human perspective.

Where did they take it..??
Should've sent the old girl to the Cobham Museum in England. They'd fix her up nice and put her back onto the streets as a museum piece.

Oh dear - It's the chassis that has much of the the strength in one of those, not the bodywork!

Clever to stick the chains through the windows, therefore allowing the pull of the chassis and engine to strain the bodywork!

That was somehow sad to watch.
Of all the lift points to use they chose the wrong ones.
How did it get entrenched? Where did it go?
