Seems pretty basic. most likely coded in a .NET language or maybe Java. I really cannot believe this took 3 months to do though. Most of these are just skid features - i.e change desktop program turn their monitor on and off. But if you still check this video , was it reverse or direct connect?

In what language did you made it ? VB6, Visualbasic 2008 or C++

and did you use TCP Client and TCP Server ?

You can make this type of program in any language. It is just your preference as to which one you want to use.
