So weird. I used the exploding gel on the wall and it never worked.

I knew you could do something with the line launcher but i didn't

know what exactly. The ledge take downs was where i was going

wrong. I thought once they were frozen then that was it.

@RaynorGo if it's your first play-through then more then likely yeah..... theres no point in playing hard mode..... because you don't get anything for it. just play on normal

You can also do a Takedown through the glass of those windowed ceilings, below the gargoyles. Run through the side room, making sure your path is going directly under the glass, run out the other door, and up the stairs, then run back on the second floor, climb over the railing and stand on the glass, and wait for it to prompt you.

I was lucky enough to beat this on my first try without this video. Damn that was hard. And also, NEVER use detective mode for more than a few seconds. It will be jammed and you will be at a great disadvantage.

Easiest place to do the line launcher takedown is on the side of the room without the water. Run behind Freeze as he's walking along and am right at his back. You have to have some momentum going but you also don't want to wait to long and miss your shot (and then end up very close to him). That's a middle of the road one. Not as hard as the explosive gel, harder than the silent takedown from behind.  Maybe using-the-magnets level hard. Very doable.

I haven't encountered that be4, you are seeing the 1 Hostile Be4 you blow it up???? if you are, then i dont no mate, but you just have to do the Line Launcher attack from behind instead of the Gel

I'm having the same problem. And yes, I am waiting for the "Hostile 1" to show up. I used the line launcher, too. There must be another tactic you're using that I'm not.

Check that, just tried it again and it worked. It's a tricky one. You'll want to be sure he's down on one knee before you run for the hit. I guess you have to be sure he takes the bulk of the hit. Prefect timing. If he's too far past the wall, it doesn't stun him enough.

@FreshBoyzProdunction Make sure you have the explosive gel on the opposite of the wall. If you put the gel on the same side of the wall the person is on it'll only stagger them, not KO them... or in this case, take down Freeze.

@FreshBoyzProdunction This was happening to me also then I realized that the explosive has to be on the opposite side that freeze is on so that the wall blows out into him. Much frustration til I figured this out.

Well, now I see what I was doing wrong. I did a drop down from a doorway before I did the glide kick. If you drop down from a doorway he will ice over the railings and you are unable to do a glide kick. I would always get him down to the last sliver of health and become unable to use anything against him. Thanks a lot.

Holy fucking shit! I'm attempting this on New Game + and Mister Freeze is fucking hard! I spent a good hour and a half trying to defeat him. The first time on Normal difficulty was a breeze, but on New Game plus, it's hard as tits! XD
