every building could produce its own power easily....for the ones containing extreme power needs...you could have a small power plant for it. its very easy to do....its just not being done, the bankers don't need to invest in the companies to produce the tech, they just commit fraud and pay 1% profit fines....not a bad deal.

How do you think, in a world with constantly changing interest rates, that this is achieved? By banks being able to hedge the interest rate risk using Interest Rate Swaps, which are OTC derivatives. Same with Credit Default Swaps, not all bad although it's arguable that buying NAKED CDS should be outlawed because you buy insurance without having the insured asset.

The amount of people that are there now is enough to completely over come any kind of public defense. If they were hostile. NYPD is playing a very dangerous game! These police officers will swing their baton and hit someone on the temple and accidentally kill one of the protesters. If NYPD ever kills a protester or if a demonstrator dies in their custody then this will account for one of the worst scandals in NYPD history and it will not go away! When news get out to the general public then this protest will never end and it will get many time more intense because you've proven that you don't care about the 99%.
