Up to 20 miles per hour on flat ground but acceleration is slower.

Sometimes its safer to drive a little faster...like around 25-28mph

Yeah I have this scooter too. It is very shakey with 2 people on it (like 250 pounds tops with the big security lock) and I really want to upgrade something or at least make it lighter somehow. The pedals are 100% needed with a passenger if you are going through any kinda traffic. I put a schwinn bike computer on it and the top speed is 20 tops and with a passenger its usually around 15,. If you ever see the battery meter move it will die soon, it was dipping to 3/4 then died within 2 miles.

What year is your model? I get 20 pretty much the whole time with 2 people. I weigh 220lb myself and my wife is 130.
