i know what your saying, but there are still some great bands out there. And there are still SOME great indy labels that put out stuff that is just as good as this. I just fell in love with Big Business' side project, White $h!t, which is very cool, fast, hard punk.
As long i have the Melvins/Big Business, i'll be fine.

i don't mind admitting i heard of this band from kurt cobain about a son. but it sounds a lot less like "bleach" the i thought it would. its sounds more like late 80's UK kinda stuff. weird but interesting
@lirannine it's okay, i prefer other songs more, but this is the song I recommend when people ask me cuz it's more public friendly. But I love She Said and Crazy Dan... and everything by them
fucking great song. appealed to me immediately. very infatuated, atm. there's some contrast in sounds, primal and refined, that strikes some chord. this has opened up another vein to explore. thx for posting.
Noise Rock is a style of Punk Rock music that incorprates free-style elements of high levels of distortion and/or feedback. Prime examples of Noise Rock are Big Black, Rapeman (both fronted to the almighty Steve Albini), Scratch Acid, Flipper, Pissed Jeans and Lightning Bolt.
The way the vocals attach to the meter in that disjointed way right at the beginning of the first verse is the definition of "hook" in my book. I have no idea what the lyrics to this are but it all sounds so awesome that ultimately it doesn't really matter.
i recommend seing FAUST if they ever come to your town. i saw them in oslo earlier this year, spectacular show, included portrait painting on huge canvas, ironing shirts, cement mixer, and general madness. plus the music was FANTASTIC! how did a guy got slammed into the ceiling? shitmat makes great music (if that is the right word), never seen him perform...
i think this sound is here now, if you only listen closely (discover the bands). let's just hope it doesn't become "the next big thing" as this will surely transform the golden potential into a shitty reality, as with all fads. for some reason, everything that grows overground becomes corrupted. in today's world we have to face problems such as fashion hipsters. who knows what tomorrow will bring? if a commercial radio is in the forest and no one is around, does it make a sound?
this song is so good! the drums make me crazy!

this vacancy is still vacant
because a tenant's so hard to find
a tenant who will understand
about the owner going blind
the whole place is empty
the floors are all that's left
the whole place is empty
the floor's all that is left

his eyes were boarded up
when the last tenant got behind
and he cannot forgive said tenant
oh, for being so unkind, so unkind
this vacancy remains
and prospectives are all declined
because the owner's sight was bad enough
but now he's lost his mind
