Never will a band live up to these guys. They defined their own genre, and nothing has come close to it. Smoke a blunt and just listen, every fucking time you will hear a new rift, beat, sound. These guys are the only great byproduct of heroine.

@Conietic I thought Omar had a heroin addiction prior to ATD-I, and both Cedric and Omar got hooked on crack during late ATD-I and early TMV. The reason they left the band was because they wanted to take the music in a different direction. Listen to Vaya and then listen to ROC. As a whole, they thought ROC was a step backwards for them. Cedric and Omar were musically going in the directions of De Facto and The Mars Volta; more abstract and less defined. All good music though.
