The little purple squish guy appeared in like one or two levels in SMW2:YI. It's kind of like Torpedo Ted and the jumping fire things from SMW. They only appear in one place, so of course hackers are like "Oh man, I better use these as often as possible!"

On the Yoshi note, i recently returned to Yoshi's Island DS, and can i say, most of the lvl's are rips from the original, and they removed a lot of the things that was challenging in the original, (It doesn't even have the flashing eggs, and there is a lot less of the fly-guys who flies off with the red coins) and all round much more bland and unoriginal. They even removed the item selection in the menu. And shy-guys, the sunflowers, and tap-taps sprite is just plain ugly now.

That's why I think the DS game has a bit more challenge to it. You can't just use that +10 or +20 star card at the end to get an 100 in a level now like I did in some levels. I still haven't mastered those bonus stages yet.

Yoshi's Island is, by far, my favorite 2D platformer of all time.

But I quit playing this hack a while back not because of its high difficulty, but because I couldn't get 100% on a castle level...because a red coin failed to appear, until my sixth playthrough or so.

You ran into a similar situation in Kamek's Revenge, and it made you real frustrated, so keep this in mind. I don't think we want you to start swearing in your native French again, a la Blargg's Boiler...
