I have some questions to ask. I have noticed that in some instances there is a different ending when you speak about yourself and a group of people. For example if i were to say "kyohdai ga futari imasu" (I have two siblings) and "watashi wa ni jyu ni sai desu (i'm twenty two years old). Now this is a wild guess but is 'imasu' used to describe a group of people (collective) and 'desu' to describe yourself (singular)?

No, not at all. Imasu can be used to be polite, or when talking in present tense. Desu is just used to be polite, but doesn't have to be added.

Beb is 100% Japanese but I think she would consider herself 110% Osakajin (mathematicians please bare with me) So yes she is Japanese but with a very heavy Osaka dialect, which is why we love her...And why the hell didn't I catch this comment before???
