People are free to believe in whatever it is they want to believe. I do not think that those beliefs should make or break any law however. The law should be based on logical standards. Will murder negatively affect another human? Yes, DONE there's a law. Will stealing negatively affect another human? Yes, DONE another law. Will marriage between two men affect another human? As far as marriage goes, I support same sex marriage because I know that couples need to have legal rights regardless of their sexual orientation. Marriage is a legal contract between two consenting adults to combine assests and pass assests to the survivor after death, nothing more, nothing less. The hoo-haa of adding the church and the religion is just that, hoo-haa. My best friend's Gay son was legally married at a country club in Vancouver Canada with NO mention of the word god.

Both my mother and sister are just like what you described, and I can't stand it. Since they're both married, how can they support "traditional bible marriage" when the parameters outlined in it would mean my mother could have been murdered for not being a virgin when married?
