i have a question? the white digital line counter, how do you put it on and off the rigger? i have the ones that slide on a off but wont come out because of the gear. i have an old rigger with the digital line counter but i cant figure how to get it off to put on my new one can you please help?

Sorry, but I won't be much help. I'm not familiar with the older units. But I would think you would need to disassemble the whole unit to slide the line counter off, and put the new on on. There is a stainless pin that holds the numbers on the counter in place and sometimes the pin gets loose and all you have to do is push the pin back in and seat it nice and tightly and the counter will work again....but you will have to take the whole unit apart to get to the counter.
