Well...Check smashboards...but...Basically DI means Directional Influence, so it's control where you move when in the air/ hit.

Basically yeah. Getting hiting right and Diing left is basic DI. Now what if you moved up and left when hit right. You'll be surviving longer then your friends in no time!

Also, Instead of air doding, use your fastest aerial and Fast Fall.

So when your hit, do your fastest Aerial while holding down on the Analog stick ( use the C stick for the move) then use the Analog to move during your aerial.

Works wonders!
